Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5437
It is narrated on the authority of Ayyub Zahri that Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) used to offer the prayer in Mina in full (four rak'ahs) due to the large number of villagers arriving, so they would know that the prayer consists of four rak'ahs.

(٥٤٣٧) ایوب زہری سے روایت ہے کہ عثمان بن عفان (رض) منیٰ میں نماز کو دیہاتیوں کی وجہ مکمل پڑھتے تھے ، کیونکہ ان کا آنا زیادہ ہوتا تھا، اس غرض سے چار رکعات پڑھاتے تھے تاکہ ان کو معلوم ہوسکے کہ نماز چار رکعات ہیں۔
Ayoub Zuhri se riwayat hai ki Usman bin Affan (RA) Mina mein namaz ko dehatiyon ki wajah mukammal parhte thay, kyunki unka aana ziada hota tha, iss gharz se chaar rakat parhate thay taaki unko maloom hosake ki namaz chaar rakat hain.
٥٤٣٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَتَمَّ الصَّلَاةَ بِمِنًى مِنْ أَجْلِ الْأَعْرَابِ لِأَنَّهُمْ كَثُرُوا عَامَئِذٍ، فَصَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ أَرْبَعًا لِيُعْلِمَهُمْ أَنَّ الصَّلَاةَ أَرْبَعٌ "
