Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5700
Nafi' narrates from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to deliver sermons while leaning on a trunk of a date palm tree. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had the pulpit made, the trunk cried, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed it next to himself.

(٥٧٠٠) نافع ابن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ایک تنے کے ساتھ ٹیک لگا کر خطبہ دیا کرتے تھے۔ جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے منبر بنوا لیا تو وہ تنا رویا، پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کو اپنے ساتھ لگایا۔
(5700) Nafi ibn Umar (RA) se naql farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) aik tane ke sath tek laga kar khutba diya karte the. Jab aap (SAW) ne mimbar banwa liya to wo tana roya, phir aap (SAW) ne us ko apne sath lagaya.
٥٧٠٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ،وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي قَالَا:ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ثنا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ،عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ:" أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ إِلَى جِذْعٍ فَلَمَّا اتَّخَذَ الْمِنْبَرَ حَنَّ الْجِذْعُ فَأَتَاهُ فَالْتَزَمَهُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ".رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ فَقَالَ:وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ: أَنْبَأَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ
