Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 8421
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The most virtuous fasting after Ramadan is in the Sacred Month of Allah, which is Muharram, and the most virtuous prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer."

(٨٤٢١) ابوہریرہ (رض) بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : رمضان کے افضل روزے اللہ کے حرمت والے مہینے محرم کے ہیں اور افضل نماز فرائض کے بعد رات کی نماز ہے۔
8421 Abu Hurairah (RA) bayan karte hain keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Ramzan ke afzal roze Allah ke hurmat wale mahine Muharram ke hain aur afzal namaz faraiz ke baad raat ki namaz hai.
٨٤٢١ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ،وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَا:ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ،عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" أَفْضَلُ الصِّيَامِ بَعْدَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ شَهْرُ اللهِ الْمُحَرَّمُ وَإِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الْمَفْرُوضَةِ صَلَاةٌ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ "لَمْ يَقُلْ قُتَيْبَةُ: شَهْرُ،قَالَ:رَمَضَانُ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ
