Sahih al-Bukhari 1954
Umar bin Al-Khattab (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘when night falls from this side and the day vanishes from this side and the sun sets, then the fasting person should break his fast.’
حضرت عمر بن خطاب ؓ سے روایت ہے، انھوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’جب ادھر سے رات آجائے اور ادھر سے دن چلا جائے، نیز سورج غروب ہوجائے تو روزہ دار اپنا روزہ افطار کردے۔‘‘
Hazrat Umar bin Khattab (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Jab idhar se raat aa jaye aur idhar se din chala jaye, neez suraj ghuroob ho jaye to rozay-dar apna roza iftar kar de."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَاصِمَ بْنَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِذَا أَقْبَلَ اللَّيْلُ مِنْ هَاهُنَا ، وَأَدْبَرَ النَّهَارُ مِنْ هَاهُنَا ، وَغَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ ، فَقَدْ أَفْطَرَ الصَّائِمُ .
