Sahih al-Bukhari 2901
Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘while some Ethiopians were playing in the presence of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) came in, picked up a stone and hit them with it. On that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘O Umar ( رضي الله تعالى عنه)! Allow them (to play)’.’ Mamar (the sub narrator) added that they were playing in the Mosque.
حضرت ابوہریرۃ ؓسے روایت ہے، انھوں نے کہا کہ حبشی لوگ (اپنے چھوٹے نیزوں اور برچھوں سے) نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس کھیل رہے تھے، اس دوران میں حضرت عمر ؓ تشریف لے آئے اور کنکریاں اٹھا کرانھیں مارنے لگے تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’اے عمر ؓ! انھیں چھوڑ دو۔‘‘ علی بن مدینی کی روایت میں یہ اضافہ ہے کہ وہ مسجد میں کھیل رہے تھے۔

Inhein chor do." Ali bin Madini ki riwayat mein yeh izafa hai ke wo masjid mein khel rahe the.
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : بَيْنَا الْحَبَشَةُ يَلْعَبُونَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِحِرَابِهِمْ ، دَخَلَ عُمَرُ فَأَهْوَى إِلَى الْحَصَى فَحَصَبَهُمْ بِهَا ، فَقَالَ : دَعْهُمْ يَا عُمَرُ ، وَزَادَ عَلِيٌّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ .
