Sahih al-Bukhari 3603
Ibn Masud (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘soon others will be preferred to you, and there will be things which you will not like.’ The companions of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) asked, ‘O Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), what do you order us to do (in this case)? He said, ‘I order you to give the rights that are on you and to ask your rights from Allah.’
حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود ؓسے روایت ہے، وہ نبی کریم ﷺ سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ آپ نے فرمایا: ’’عنقریب دوسروں کو تم پر ترجیح دی جائے گی اور ایسے امور ہوں گے جنھیں تم ناپسند کروگے۔‘‘ صحابہ کرام رضوان اللہ عنھم اجمعین نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول ﷺ ! ایسے حالات میں آپ ہمیں کیا حکم دیتے ہیں؟آپ نے فرمایا: ’’جو فرائض تمہارے ذمے ہیں تم انھیں پوری ذمہ داری سے ادا کرتے رہو اور جو تمہارا حق ہے وہ اللہ سے مانگو۔‘‘
Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (Radi Allahu Taala Anhu) se riwayat hai, woh Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) se bayan karte hain ke Aap ne farmaya: ''An-qareeb dusron ko tum par tarjeeh di jaye gi aur aise umoor hon ge jinhein tum napasand karo ge.'' Sahaba-e-Kiram (Ridwanullahi Alaihim Ajmaeen) ne arz kiya: Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam)! Aise haalat mein Aap humein kya hukm dete hain? Aap ne farmaya: ''Jo faraiz tumhare zimme hain tum inhein poori zimmedari se ada karte raho aur jo tumhara haq hai woh Allah se mango.' '
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : سَتَكُونُ أَثَرَةٌ وَأُمُورٌ تُنْكِرُونَهَا ، قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَمَا تَأْمُرُنَا ، قَالَ : تُؤَدُّونَ الْحَقَّ الَّذِي عَلَيْكُمْ وَتَسْأَلُونَ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَكُمْ .
