Sahih al-Bukhari 5073
Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that Allah’s Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) forbade Uthman bin Maz'un to abstain from marrying (and other pleasures) and if he had allowed him, we would have gotten ourselves castrated.
سیدنا سعد بن ابی وقاص ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے سیدنا عثمان بن مظعون ؓ کے مجرد رہنے کو مسترد کر دیا۔ اگر آپ انہیں اجازت دے دیتے تو ہم خصی ہو جاتے۔
Sayyidna Saad bin Abi Waqqas (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne kaha ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne Sayyidna Usman bin Maz'oon (Radi Allahu Anhu) ke mujarrad rehne ko mustarad kar diya. Agar aap unhein ijazat de dete to hum khasi ho jate.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ ، سَمِعَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ، يَقُولُ :رَدَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مَظْعُونٍ التَّبَتُّلَ ، وَلَوْ أَذِنَ لَهُ لَاخْتَصَيْنَا .
