Sahih al-Bukhari 5181
Narrated Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet) I bought a cushion having on it pictures (of animals). When Allah's Apostle saw it, he stood at the door and did not enter. I noticed the sign of disapproval on his face and said, O Allah's Apostle! I repent to Allah and His Apostle. What sin have I committed?' Allah's Apostle said. What is this cushion? I said, I have bought it for you so that you may sit on it and recline on it. Allah's Apostle said, The makers of these pictures will be punished on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to them, 'Give life to what you have created (i.e., these pictures).' The Prophet added, The Angels of (Mercy) do not enter a house in which there are pictures (of animals).
نبی ﷺ کی زوجہ محترمہ ام المومنین سیدہ عائشہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے ایک چھوٹا سا تصویروں والا قالین خریدا۔ جب رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اسے (گھر میں لٹکتے) دیکھا تو دروازے ہی پر کھڑے ہو گئے اور اندر نہ گئے مجھے آپ کے چہرہ انور پر کراہت کے آثار محسوس ہوئے تو میں نے عرض کی: اللہ کے رسول! میں اللہ اور اس کے رسول کے حضور توبہ کرتی ہوں! میں نے کون سا گناہ کیا ہے؟ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”یہ قالین کیساہے؟“ میں نے عرض کی: یہ تو میں نے آپ کے لیے خریدا ہے تا کہ کبھی آپ اس کو بچھا کر بیٹھیں اور کبھی اسکا تکیہ بنالیں۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”یہ تصویریں بنانے والے قیامت کے دن عذاب دیئے جائیں گے اور ان سے کہا جائے گا۔ جو تم نے بنایا ہے اس میں روح ڈالو اور اسے زندہ کرو۔“ پھر فرمایا: ”جس گھر میں یہ تصویریں ہوں وہاں رحمت کے فرشتے یقیناً نہیں آتے۔“
Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki zauja-e-muhtarma Umm-ul-Momineen Sayyida Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) se riwayat hai ke unhon ne ek chhota sa tasveeron wala qaleen khareeda. Jab Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne ise (ghar mein latakte) dekha to darwaze hi par khare ho gaye aur andar na gaye mujhe aap ke chehra-e-anwar par karahat ke aathar mehsoos hue to main ne arz ki: Allah ke Rasool! Main Allah aur is ke Rasool ke huzoor tauba karti hoon! Main ne kaun sa gunah kiya hai? Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Yeh qaleen kaisa hai?" Main ne arz ki: Yeh to main ne aap ke liye khareeda hai ta-ke kabhi aap is ko bicha kar baithein aur kabhi iska takiya banalein. Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Yeh tasveerein banane wale qayamat ke din azab diye jayein ge aur un se kaha jaye ga: Jo tum ne banaya hai is mein rooh dalo aur ise zinda karo." Phir farmaya: "Jis ghar mein yeh tasveerein hon wahan rahmat ke farishte yaqeenan nahin aate."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّهَا اشْتَرَتْ نُمْرُقَةً فِيهَا تَصَاوِيرُ ، فَلَمَّا رَآهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَامَ عَلَى الْبَابِ فَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ فَعَرَفْتُ فِي وَجْهِهِ الْكَرَاهِيَةَ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَإِلَى رَسُولِهِ ، مَاذَا أَذْنَبْتُ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَا بَالُ هَذِهِ النُّمْرُقَةِ ؟ قَالَتْ : فَقُلْتُ : اشْتَرَيْتُهَا لَكَ لِتَقْعُدَ عَلَيْهَا وَتَوَسَّدَهَا ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ هَذِهِ الصُّوَرِ يُعَذَّبُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيُقَالُ لَهُمْ : أَحْيُوا مَا خَلَقْتُمْ ، وَقَالَ : إِنَّ الْبَيْتَ الَّذِي فِيهِ الصُّوَرُ لَا تَدْخُلُهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ .
