Sahih al-Bukhari 5974
Narrated Ibn `Umar: Allah's Apostle said, While three persons were traveling, they were overtaken by rain and they took shelter in a cave in a mountain. A big rock fell from the mountain over the mouth of the cave and blocked it. They said to each other. 'Think of such good (righteous) deeds which, you did for Allah's sake only, and invoke Allah by giving reference to those deeds so that Allah may relieve you from your difficulty. one of them said, 'O Allah! I had my parents who were very old and I had small children for whose sake I used to work as a shepherd. When I returned to them at night and milked (the sheep), I used to start giving the milk to my parents first before giving to my children. And one day I went far away in search of a grazing place (for my sheep), and didn't return home till late at night and found that my parents had slept. I milked (my livestock) as usual and brought the milk vessel and stood at their heads, and I disliked to wake them up from their sleep, and I also disliked to give the milk to my children before my parents though my children were crying (from hunger) at my feet. So this state of mine and theirs continued till the day dawned. (O Allah!) If you considered that I had done that only for seeking Your pleasure, then please let there be an opening through which we can see the sky.' So Allah made for them an opening through which they could see the sky. Then the second person said, 'O Allah! I had a she-cousin whom I loved as much as a passionate man love a woman. I tried to seduce her but she refused till I paid her one-hundred Dinars So I worked hard till I collected one hundred Dinars and went to her with that But when I sat in between her legs (to have sexual intercourse with her), she said, 'O Allah's slave! Be afraid of Allah ! Do not deflower me except legally (by marriage contract). So I left her O Allah! If you considered that I had done that only for seeking Your pleasure then please let the rock move a little to have a (wider) opening.' So Allah shifted that rock to make the opening wider for them. And the last (third) person said 'O Allah ! I employed a laborer for wages equal to a Faraq (a certain measure: of rice, and when he had finished his job he demanded his wages, but when I presented his due to him, he gave it up and refused to take it. Then I kept on sowing that rice for him (several times) till managed to buy with the price of the yield, some cows and their shepherd Later on the laborer came to me an said. '(O Allah's slave!) Be afraid o Allah, and do not be unjust to me an give me my due.' I said (to him). 'Go and take those cows and their shepherd. So he took them and went away. (So, O Allah!) If You considered that I had done that for seeking Your pleasure, then please remove the remaining part of the rock.' And so Allah released them (from their difficulty).
حضرت ابن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے وہ رسول اللہ ﷺ سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ آپ نے فرمایا: ایک دفعہ تین آدمی کہیں جا رہے تھے کہا انہیں بارش نے آ لیا۔ وہ پہاڑ کے غار میں گھس گئے، پھر غار کے منہ پر پہاڑ کی بہت بڑی چٹان گری جس سے اس کا منہ بند ہو گیا۔ انہوں نے ایک دوسرے سے کہا: تم نے جو نیک کام کیے ہیں ان میں سے جو خالص اللہ کے لیے کیا ہے اس کے ذریعے سے اللہ کے حضور دعا کرو، ممکن ہے کہ وہ غار کو کھول دے چنانچہ ان میں سے ایک نے کہا: اے اللہ! میرے والدین بوڑھے تھے اور میرے چھوٹے چھوٹے بچے بھی تھے میں ان کے لیے بکریوں کا دودھ نکال کر اپنے والدین سے اس کی ابتدا کرتا، ان کے بعد اپنے بچوں کو پلاتا تھا۔ ایک دن درختوں کی تلاش میں بہت دور چلا گیا اور شام کو بہت دیر سے گھر آیا۔ میں نے والدین کو دیکھا کہ وہ سو گئے ہیں تاہم میں نے حسب معمول دودھ نکالا پھر تازہ دودھ لے کر والدین کے سرہانے کھڑا ہو گیا۔ مجھے یہ گوارا نہ تھا کہ انہیں بیدار کروں اور یہ بھی پسند نہ تھا کہ ان سے پہلے اپنے بچوں کو دودھ پلاوں۔ بچے بھوک کے مارے میرے قدموں پر لوٹ پوٹ رہے تھے اور اسی کشمکش میں صبح ہو گئی۔ اے اللہ! اگر تو جانتا ہے کہ میں نے یہ عمل تیری رضا کے لیے کیا تھا تو ہمارے لیے راستہ کھول دے تاکہ ہم آسمان دیکھ سکیں، چنانچہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کے لیے اتنی کشادگی پیدا کر دی کہ وہ آسمان دیکھ سکتے تھے۔ پھر دوسرے نے کہا: اے اللہ! میری ایک چچا زاد بیٹی تھی جس سے میں بہت محبت کرتا تھا جس طرح لوگ عورتوں سے محبت کرتے ہیں۔ میں نے اس سے اس کے نفس کا مطالبہ کیا تو اس نے انکار کر دیا، صرف اس شرط پرراضی ہوئی کہ میں اسے سو دینار دوں۔ میں نے دوڑ دھوپ کر کے سو دینار جمع کیا اور انہیں لے کر اس کے پاس آیا، پھر جب میں اس کی دونوں ٹانگوں کے درمیان بیٹھ گیا تو اس نے کہا اے اللہ کے بندے! اللہ سے ڈر اور اس مہر کو ناحق مت توڑ، چنانچہ میں یہ سن کر وہاں سے کھڑا ہو گیا۔ اے اللہ! اگر تو جانتا ہے کہ میں نے یہ عمل محض تیری رضا کے لیے کیا تھا تو ہمارے لیے کچھ اور کشادگی پیدا کر دے۔ اللہ تعالٰی نے ان کے لیے کچھ مزید کشادگی پیدا کر دی تیسرے شخص نے کہا: اے اللہ! میں نے ایک مزدور کو ایک فرق چاول کی مزدوری پر رکھا تھا۔ جب اس نےاپنا کام پورا کر لیا تو کہا مجھے میرا حق دو۔ میں نے اس کا حق پیش کر دیا لیکن وہ چھوڑ کر چلا گیا اور اس کی طرف اس نے کوئی توجہ نہ دی۔ اس کے بعد میں اس سے کاشت کرتا رہا حتیٰ کہ میں نے اس سے بیل گائیں اور ایک چرواہا خرید لیا۔ کچھ مدت بعد وہ میرے پاس آیا اور کہنے لگا: اللہ سے ڈر اور مجھ پر ظلم نہ کر، نیز میرا حق مجھے واپس کر دے۔ میں نے کہا: یہ بیل گائیں اور چرواہا سب لے جاؤ۔ اس نے کہا: اللہ سے ڈر اور مجھ سے مذاق نہ کر۔ میں نے کہا: میں تیرے ساتھ مذاق نہیں کر رہا ہوں۔ یہ بیل گائیں اور چرواہا لے جاؤ چنانچہ وہ انہیں لے کر چلا گیا اے اللہ! اگر تو جانتا ہے کہ میں نے یہ عمل تیری رضا طلبی کے لیے کیا ہے تو جو رکاوٹ باقی رہ گئی ہے اسے بھی کھول دے، چنانچہ اللہ تعالٰی نے باقی تمام پتھر ان سے ہٹا دیا۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai wo Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se bayan karte hain ke aap ne farmaya: Ek dafa teen aadmi kahin ja rahe thay kahan unhein baarish ne aa liya. Wo pahar ke ghaar mein ghus gaye, phir ghaar ke munh par pahar ki bahut bari chattan giri jis se us ka munh band ho gaya. Unhone ek doosre se kaha: Tum ne jo naik kaam kiye hain in mein se jo khalis Allah ke liye kiya hai us ke zariye se Allah ke huzoor dua karo, mumkin hai ke wo ghaar ko khol day chunancha un mein se ek ne kaha: Ae Allah! Mere walidain boorhe thay aur mere chote chote bachay bhi thay mein un ke liye bakriyon ka doodh nikal kar apne walidain se is ki ibtida karta, un ke baad apne bachon ko pilata tha. Ek din darakhton ki talash mein bahut door chala gaya aur shaam ko bahut dair se ghar aaya. Mein ne walidain ko dekha ke wo so gaye hain ta-ham mein ne hasb-e-ma'mool doodh nikala phir taza doodh le kar walidain ke sirhane khara ho gaya. Mujhe yeh gawara na tha ke unhein bidaar karoon aur yeh bhi pasand na tha ke un se pehle apne bachon ko doodh pilaoon. Bachay bhook ke maare mere qadmon par laut-paut rahe thay aur isi kash-ma-kash mein subah ho gayi. Ae Allah! Agar tu jaanta hai ke mein ne yeh amal teri raza ke liye kiya tha to hamare liye raasta khol day taake hum aasman dekh sakein, chunancha Allah Ta'ala ne un ke liye itni kushadagi paida kar di ke wo aasman dekh sakte thay. Phir doosre ne kaha: Ae Allah! Meri ek chacha-zad beti thi jis se mein bahut mohabbat karta tha jis tarah log aurton se mohabbat karte hain. Mein ne us se us ke nafs ka mutaliba kiya to us ne inkar kar diya, sirf is shart par raazi hui ke mein usay sau dinar doon. Mein ne daur-dhoop kar ke sau dinar jama kiya aur unhein le kar us ke paas aaya, phir jab mein us ki dono taangon ke darmiyan baith gaya to us ne kaha ae Allah ke bande! Allah se dar aur is mahr ko na-haqq mat torh, chunancha mein yeh sun kar wahan se khara ho gaya. Ae Allah! Agar tu jaanta hai ke mein ne yeh amal mahz teri raza ke liye kiya tha to hamare liye kuch aur kushadagi paida kar day. Allah Ta'ala ne un ke liye kuch mazeed kushadagi paida kar di teesre shakhs ne kaha: Ae Allah! Mein ne ek mazdoor ko ek farq chawal ki mazdoori par rakha tha. Jab us ne apna kaam poora kar liya to kaha mujhe mera haqq do. Mein ne us ka haqq pesh kar diya lekin wo chhor kar chala gaya aur us ki taraf us ne koi tawajjo na di. Is ke baad mein us se kasht karta raha hatta ke mein ne us se bail gayein aur ek charwaha khareed liya. Kuch muddat baad wo mere paas aaya aur kehne laga: Allah se dar aur mujh par zulm na kar, neez mera haqq mujhe wapas kar day. Mein ne kaha: Yeh bail gayein aur charwaha sab le jao. Us ne kaha: Allah se dar aur mujh se mazaq na kar. Mein ne kaha: Mein tere saath mazaq nahi kar raha hoon. Yeh bail gayein aur charwaha le jao chunancha wo unhein le kar chala gaya ae Allah! Agar tu jaanta hai ke mein ne yeh amal teri raza-talabi ke liye kiya hai to jo rukawat baqi reh gayi hai usay bhi khol day, chunancha Allah Ta'ala ne baqi tamaam patthar un se hata diya.
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا ثَلَاثَةُ نَفَرٍ يَتَمَاشَوْنَ أَخَذَهُمُ الْمَطَرُ فَمَالُوا إِلَى غَارٍ فِي الْجَبَلِ فَانْحَطَّتْ عَلَى فَمِ غَارِهِمْ صَخْرَةٌ مِنَ الْجَبَلِ فَأَطْبَقَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ ، فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ : انْظُرُوا أَعْمَالًا عَمِلْتُمُوهَا لِلَّهِ صَالِحَةً ، فَادْعُوا اللَّهَ بِهَا لَعَلَّهُ يَفْرُجُهَا ، فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمْ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهُ كَانَ لِي وَالِدَانِ شَيْخَانِ كَبِيرَانِ وَلِي صِبْيَةٌ صِغَارٌ كُنْتُ أَرْعَى عَلَيْهِمْ ، فَإِذَا رُحْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ فَحَلَبْتُ بَدَأْتُ بِوَالِدَيَّ أَسْقِهِمَا قَبْلَ وَلَدِي ، وَإِنَّهُ نَاءَ بِيَ الشَّجَرُ فَمَا أَتَيْتُ حَتَّى أَمْسَيْتُ فَوَجَدْتُهُمَا قَدْ نَامَا ، فَحَلَبْتُ كَمَا كُنْتُ أَحْلُبُ فَجِئْتُ بِالْحِلَابِ فَقُمْتُ عِنْدَ رُءُوسِهِمَا ، أَكْرَهُ أَنْ أُوقِظَهُمَا مِنْ نَوْمِهِمَا ، وَأَكْرَهُ أَنْ أَبْدَأَ بِالصِّبْيَةِ قَبْلَهُمَا وَالصِّبْيَةُ يَتَضَاغَوْنَ عِنْدَ قَدَمَيَّ ، فَلَمْ يَزَلْ ذَلِكَ دَأْبِي وَدَأْبَهُمْ حَتَّى طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ ، فَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنِّي فَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِكَ فَافْرُجْ لَنَا فُرْجَةً نَرَى مِنْهَا السَّمَاءَ ، فَفَرَجَ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ فُرْجَةً حَتَّى يَرَوْنَ مِنْهَا السَّمَاءَ ، وَقَالَ الثَّانِي : اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهُ كَانَتْ لِي ابْنَةُ عَمٍّ أُحِبُّهَا كَأَشَدِّ مَا يُحِبُّ الرِّجَالُ النِّسَاءَ فَطَلَبْتُ إِلَيْهَا نَفْسَهَا فَأَبَتْ حَتَّى آتِيَهَا بِمِائَةِ دِينَارٍ فَسَعَيْتُ حَتَّى جَمَعْتُ مِائَةَ دِينَارٍ فَلَقِيتُهَا بِهَا ، فَلَمَّا قَعَدْتُ بَيْنَ رِجْلَيْهَا قَالَتْ : يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ اتَّقِ اللَّهَ ، وَلَا تَفْتَحِ الْخَاتَمَ إلا بحقه فَقُمْتُ عَنْهَا ، اللَّهُمَّ فَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنِّي قَدْ فَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِكَ فَافْرُجْ لَنَا مِنْهَا فَفَرَجَ لَهُمْ فُرْجَةً ، وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي كُنْتُ اسْتَأْجَرْتُ أَجِيرًا بِفَرَقِ أَرُزٍّ فَلَمَّا قَضَى عَمَلَهُ قَالَ أَعْطِنِي حَقِّي فَعَرَضْتُ عَلَيْهِ حَقَّهُ فَتَرَكَهُ وَرَغِبَ عَنْهُ ، فَلَمْ أَزَلْ أَزْرَعُهُ حَتَّى جَمَعْتُ مِنْهُ بَقَرًا وَرَاعِيَهَا ، فَجَاءَنِي فَقَالَ : اتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَلَا تَظْلِمْنِي وَأَعْطِنِي حَقِّي ، فَقُلْتُ : اذْهَبْ إِلَى ذَلِكَ الْبَقَرِ وَرَاعِيهَا ، فَقَالَ : اتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَلَا تَهْزَأْ بِي ، فَقُلْتُ : إِنِّي لَا أَهْزَأُ بِكَ فَخُذْ ذَلِكَ الْبَقَرَ وَرَاعِيَهَا فَأَخَذَهُ فَانْطَلَقَ بِهَا ، فَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنِّي فَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِكَ فَافْرُجْ مَا بَقِيَ فَفَرَجَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ .
