Sahih al-Bukhari 6023
Adi bin Hatim (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mentioned the Hellfire and sought refuge with Allah from it and turned his face to the other side. He mentioned the Hellfire again and took refuge with Allah from it and turned his face to the other side. Shu`ba, the sub-narrator, said, ‘I have no doubt that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) repeated it twice.’ The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) then said, ‘O people, save yourselves from the Hellfire even if with one half of a date fruit (given in charity), and if this is not available, then by saying a good pleasant friendly word.’
حضرت عدی بن حاتم ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ نبی ﷺ نے دوزخ کا ذکر کیا اس سے پناہ مانگی اور چہرے سے ناگواری کا تاثر ظاہر کیا۔ ۔ ۔ (راوی حدیث) شعبہ نے کہا: (آپ ﷺ کے) دومرتبہ (جہنم سے پناہ مانگتے) کے متعلق مجھے کوئی شک نہیں۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ پھر آپ نے فرمایا جہنم سے بچو، اگرچہ کھجور کا ٹکڑا دینے سے ہو۔ اور اگر کسی کو یہ بھی میسر نہ ہو تو اچھی بات کر کے (اس جہنم سے بچنے کی کوشش کرے)
Hazrat Adi bin Hatim (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhone kaha ke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne dozakh ka zikr kiya is se panah maangi aur chehre se nagawari ka ta'assur zahir kiya. . . (rawi hadees) Shu'ba ne kaha: (aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke) do martaba (jahannam se panah maangte) ke mutaliq mujhe koi shak nahi. . . . . Phir aap ne farmaya jahannam se bacho, agarchay khajoor ka tukra daine se ho. Aur agar kisi ko yeh bhi muyassar na ho to achhi baat kar ke (is jahannam se bachne ki koshish kare).
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ ، قَالَ : ذَكَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّارَ فَتَعَوَّذَ مِنْهَا وَأَشَاحَ بِوَجْهِهِ ، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ النَّارَ فَتَعَوَّذَ مِنْهَا وَأَشَاحَ بِوَجْهِهِ ، قَالَ شُعْبَةُ : أَمَّا مَرَّتَيْنِ فَلَا أَشُكُّ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدْ فَبِكَلِمَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ .
