بَابُ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ} وَمَا يُنْهَى عَنِ الْكَذِبِ

Sahih al-Bukhari 6096
Samura bin Jundub (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘I saw (in a dream), two men came to me.’ Then the Prophet ( صلى ہللا عليه و آلهوسلم) narrated the story (saying), ‘they said, 'the person, the one whose cheek you saw being torn away (from the mouth to the ear) was a liar and used to tell lies and the people would report those lies on his authority till they spread all over the world. So, he will be punished like that till the Day of Resurrection.’
حضرت سمرہ بن جندب ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”میرے پاس (گزشتہ رات خواب میں) دو آدمی آئے۔ انہوں نے کہا: جسے آپ نے دیکھا کہ اس کے جبڑے چیرے جا رہے تھے، وہ بہت جھوٹ بکنے والاتھا۔ اس کی جھوٹی باتیں اس حد تک نقل کی جاتیں کہ پوری دنیا میں پھیل جاتی تھیں۔ قیامت تک اس کو یہی سزا ملتی رہے گی۔“
Hazrat Samura bin Jundub (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhone kaha ke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Mere paas (guzashta raat khwab mein) do aadmi aaye. Unhone kaha: Jisay aap ne dekha ke is ke jabre cheere ja rahe thay, wo bahut jhoot bakne wala tha. Is ki jhooti baatein is had tak naqal ki jaatien ke poori duniya mein phail jaatien thien. Qayamat tak is ko yahi saza milti rahe gi."
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : رَأَيْتُ اللَّيْلَةَ رَجُلَيْنِ أَتَيَانِي قَالَا : الَّذِي رَأَيْتَهُ يُشَقُّ شِدْقُهُ فَكَذَّابٌ يَكْذِبُ بِالْكَذْبَةِ تُحْمَلُ عَنْهُ حَتَّى تَبْلُغَ الْآفَاقَ فَيُصْنَعُ بِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ .
