Sahih al-Bukhari 6692
Sa`id bin Al-Harith narrated that he heard Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) saying, ‘were not people forbidden to make vows?’ The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, 'a vow neither hastens nor delays anything, but by the making of vows, some of the wealth of a miser is taken out.’
حضرت ابن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: کیا لوگوں کو نذر سے منع کیا گیا؟ بلاشبہ نبی ﷺ کا ارشاد گرامی ہے: ”نذر کسی چیز کو آگے پیچھے نہیں کرسکتی اس کے ذریعے سے تو صرف بخیل سے مال نکالا جاتا ہے۔“
Hazrat Ibn Umar (Razi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne kaha: Kya logon ko nazar se mana kiya gaya? Bilashuba Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka irshad-e-girami hai: 'Nazar kisi cheez ko aage peeche nahi kar sakti is ke zariye se toh sirf bakheel se maal nikala jata hai.'
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، يَقُولُ : أَوَلَمْ يُنْهَوْا عَنِ النَّذْرِ ، إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : إِنَّ النَّذْرَ لَا يُقَدِّمُ شَيْئًا وَلَا يُؤَخِّرُ ، وَإِنَّمَا يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِالنَّذْرِ مِنَ الْبَخِيلِ .
