Sahih al-Bukhari 7169
Ummul Momineen Um Salama (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated that Allah's Apostle ( صلى ہللا عليه و آلهوسلم) said, ‘I am only a human being, and you people (opponents) come to me with your cases; and it may be that one of you can present his case eloquently in a more convincing way than the other, and I give my verdict according to what I hear. So, if ever I judge (by error) and give the right of a brother to his other (brother) then he (the latter) should not take it, for I am giving him only a piece of Fire.’
سیدنا ام سلمہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”بس میں تو صرف ایک انسان ہوں، تم میرے پاس اپنے مقدمات لاتے ہو، ممکن ہے کہ تم میں سے کوئی اپنا مقدمہ پیش کرنے میں دوسرے سے زیادہ چرب زبان ہو اور میں اس کی باتیں سن کر اس کے حق میں فیصلہ کر دوں تو میں نے جس کے لیے اس کے بھائی کے حق کا ٖفیصلہ کر دیا تو وہ اس کو نہ لے کیونکہ وہ تو میں اسے آگ کا ٹکڑا کاٹ کر دے رہا ہوں۔“
Sayyiduna Umm-e-Salama (Radi Allahu Anha) se riwayat hai ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Bas main to sirf aik insan hoon, tum mere paas apne muqaddamat late ho, mumkin hai ke tum mein se koi apna muqaddama pesh karne mein doosre se zyada charb-zaban ho aur main is ki baatein sun kar is ke haqq mein faisla kar doon to main ne jis ke liye is ke bhai ke haqq ka faisla kar diya to woh is ko na le kyunke woh to main usay aag ka tukra kaat kar de raha hoon."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ وَإِنَّكُمْ تَخْتَصِمُونَ إِلَيَّ ، وَلَعَلَّ بَعْضَكُمْ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَلْحَنَ بِحُجَّتِهِ مِنْ بَعْضٍ ، فَأَقْضِي عَلَى نَحْوِ مَا أَسْمَعُ ، فَمَنْ قَضَيْتُ لَهُ مِنْ حَقِّ أَخِيهِ شَيْئًا فَلَا يَأْخُذْهُ ، فَإِنَّمَا أَقْطَعُ لَهُ قِطْعَةً مِنَ النَّارِ .
