Sahih al-Bukhari 7190
Sahl bin Sa`d As-Saidi (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that there was some quarrel (fighting) among Bani Amr, and when this news reached the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), he offered the Zuhr prayer and went to establish peace among them. In the meantime, the time of Asr prayer was due, Bilal (رضي الله تعالی عنہ) pronounced the Adhan and then the Iqama for the prayer and requested Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) (to lead the prayer) and Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) went forward. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) arrived while Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) was still praying. He entered the rows of praying people till he stood behind Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) in the (first) row. The people started clapping, and it was the habit of Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that whenever he stood for prayer, he never glanced side-ways till he had finished it, but when Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) observed that the clapping was not coming to an end, he looked and saw the Prophet ( صلى ہللا عليهو آله وسلم) standing behind him. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) beckoned him to carry on by waving his hand. Abu Bakr (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) stood there for a while, thanking Allah for the saying of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and then he retreated, taking his steps backwards. When the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) saw that, he went ahead and led the people in prayer. When he finished the prayer, he said, ‘O Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه), what prevented you from carrying on with the prayer after I beckoned you to do so?’ Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) replied, ‘it does not befit the son of Abi Quhafa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) to lead the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) in prayer.’ Then the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said to the people, ‘if some problem arises during prayers, then the men should say, Subhan Allah and the women should clap.’
سیدنا سہل بن سعد ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: قبیلہ بنو عمرو میں باہم لڑائی ہوگئی۔نبی ﷺ کو اس کو اطلاع ملی تو آپ نے ظہر کی نماز پڑھی ،پھر ان کے ہاں صلح کرانے کے لیے تشریف لے گئے۔جب نماز عصر کا وقت ہوا تو بلال ؓ نے اذان اور اقامت کہی، پھر سیدنا ابو بکر ؓ سے کہا کہ وہ آگے بڑھیں اور نماز پڑھائیں ، چنانچہ آپ نماز پڑھانے کے لیے آگے بڑھے تو نبی ﷺ بھی تشریف لے آئے جبکہ ابو بکر ؓ نماز ہی میں تھے ۔آپ ﷺ صفوں کو چیرتے ہوئے آگے بڑھے اور سیدنا ابو بکر ؓ کے پیچھے کھڑے ہوگئے اور اس صف میں تشریف لے گئے جو ابو بکر ؓ کے قریب تھی۔ سیدنا سہل ؓ نے کہا: لوگوں نے ایک ہاتھ کو دوسرے ہاتھ پر مارا، لیکن سیدنا ابو بکر ؓ جب نماز شروع کرتے تو ختم کرنے سے پہلے کسی طرف توجہ نہیں کرتے تھے۔ جب انہوں نے دیکھا کہ لوگوں کی تالیاں بند نہیں ہورہیں تو ادھر متوجہ ہوئے اور نبی ﷺ کو اپنے پیچھے دیکھا۔ نبی ﷺ نے انہیں اشارہ کیا کہ نماز کو جاری رکھیں اور اس طرح آپ نے اپنے دست مبارک سے اشارہ فرمایا: سیدنا ابو بکر ؓ تھوڑی دیر ٹھہرے اور نبی کے حکم کی تعمیل میں اللہ کی حمد وثنا کرتے رہے، پھر آپ الٹے پاؤں پیچھے آگئے۔ جب نبی ﷺ نے یہ دیکھا تو آپ آگے بڑھے اور لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائی۔ نماز مکمل کرنے کے بعد آپ نے فرمایا: ابو بکر! جب میں نےاشارہ کردیا تھا تو تمہیں نماز پوری پڑھانے میں کیا چیز مانع تھی؟ انہوں نے کہا: ابو قحافہ کے بیٹے کے لیے مناسب نہیں تھا کہ وہ نبی ﷺ کی امامت کرائے۔ اس کے بعد نبی ﷺ نے لوگوں سے فرمایا: ”جب (نماز میں) کوئی معاملہ پیش آجائے تو مرد سبحان اللہ کہیں اور عورتوں کو چاہیئے کہ وہ ہاتھ ماریں۔“
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Saad (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne kaha: Qabila Banu Amr mein baham larayi hogayi. Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko is ko ittela mili to aap ne zohar ki namaz parhi, phir in ke haan sulah karane ke liye tashreef le gaye. Jab namaz-e-asr ka waqt hua to Bilal (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne azan aur iqamat kahi, phir Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (Radi Allahu Anhu) se kaha ke woh aage barhein aur namaz parhayein, chunancha aap namaz parhane ke liye aage barhe to Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) bhi tashreef le aaye jabke Abu Bakr (Radi Allahu Anhu) namaz hi mein thay. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) saffon ko cheerte huye aage barhe aur Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (Radi Allahu Anhu) ke peeche kharay hogaye aur is saff mein tashreef le gaye jo Abu Bakr (Radi Allahu Anhu) ke kareeb thi. Sayyiduna Sahl (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne kaha: logon ne aik hath ko doosre hath par mara, lekin Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (Radi Allahu Anhu) jab namaz shuru karte to khatm karne se pehle kisi taraf tawajju nahin karte thay. Jab unhon ne dekha ke logon ki taliyan band nahin horein to udhar mutawajju huye aur Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko apne peeche dekha. Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne unhein ishara kiya ke namaz ko jaari rakhein aur is tarah aap ne apne dast-e-mubarak se ishara farmaya: Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (Radi Allahu Anhu) thori dair thehre aur Nabi ke hukm ki tameel mein Allah ki hamd o sana karte rahe, phir aap ulte paon peeche aa gaye. Jab Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne yeh dekha to aap aage barhe aur logon ko namaz parhayi. Namaz mukammal karne ke baad aap ne farmaya: Abu Bakr! Jab main ne ishara kardi-ya tha to tumhein namaz poori parhane mein kya cheez man'e thi? Unhon ne kaha: Abu Quhafa ke bete ke liye munasib nahin tha ke woh Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki imamat karaye. Is ke baad Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne logon se farmaya: "Jab (namaz mein) koi muamla pesh aa jaye to mard Subhan Allah kahein aur auraton ko chahiye ke woh hath marein."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ ، قَالَ : كَانَ قِتَالٌ بَيْنَ بَنِي عَمْرٍو ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ ، ثُمَّ أَتَاهُمْ يُصْلِحُ بَيْنَهُمْ ، فَلَمَّا حَضَرَتْ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ ، فَأَذَّنَ بِلَالٌ وَأَقَامَ ، وَأَمَرَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَتَقَدَّمَ ، وَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ، فَشَقَّ النَّاسَ حَتَّى قَامَ خَلْفَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَتَقَدَّمَ فِي الصَّفِّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ ، قَالَ : وَصَفَّحَ الْقَوْمُ ، وَكَانَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ إِذَا دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ لَمْ يَلْتَفِتْ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ ، فَلَمَّا رَأَى التَّصْفِيحَ لَا يُمْسَكُ عَلَيْهِ ، الْتَفَتَ ، فَرَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَلْفَهُ ، فَأَوْمَأَ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِهِ أَنِ امْضِهْ ، وَأَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ هَكَذَا ، وَلَبِثَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ هُنَيَّةً يَحْمَدُ اللَّهَ عَلَى قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ مَشَى الْقَهْقَرَى ، فَلَمَّا رَأَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَلِكَ تَقَدَّمَ فَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالنَّاسِ ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ ، قَالَ : يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ مَا مَنَعَكَ إِذْ أَوْمَأْتُ إِلَيْكَ أَنْ لَا تَكُونَ مَضَيْتَ ؟ ، قَالَ : لَمْ يَكُنْ لِابْنِ أَبِي قُحَافَةَ أَنْ يَؤُمَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَقَالَ لِلْقَوْمِ : إِذَا رَابَكُمْ أَمْرٌ فَلْيُسَبِّحِ الرِّجَالُ وَلْيُصَفِّحِ النِّسَاءُ .
