Sahih al-Bukhari 7410
Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, Allah will gather the believers on the Day of Resurrection in the same way (as they are gathered in this life), and they will say, 'Let us ask someone to intercede for us with our Lord that He may relieve us from this place of ours.' Then they will go to Adam and say, 'O Adam! Don't you see the people (people's condition)? Allah created you with His Own Hands and ordered His angels to prostrate before you, and taught you the names of all the things. Please intercede for us with our Lord so that He may relieve us from this place of ours.' Adam will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking' and mention to them the mistakes he had committed, and add, But you d better go to Noah as he was the first Apostle sent by Allah to the people of the Earth.' They will go to Noah who will reply, 'I am not fit for this undertaking,' and mention the mistake which he made, and add, 'But you'd better go to Abraham, Khalil Ar-Rahman.' They will go to Abraham who will reply, 'I am not fit for this undertaking,' and mention to them the mistakes he made, and add, 'But you'd better go to Moses, a slave whom Allah gave the Torah and to whom He spoke directly' They will go to Moses who will reply, 'I am not fit for this undertaking,' and mention to them the mistakes he made, and add, 'You'd better go to Jesus, Allah's slave and His Apostle and His Word (Be: And it was) and a soul created by Him.' They will go to Jesus who will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking, but you'd better go to Muhammad whose sins of the past and the future had been forgiven (by Allah).' So they will come to me and I will ask the permission of my Lord, and I will be permitted (to present myself) before Him. When I see my Lord, I will fall down in (prostration) before Him and He will leave me (in prostration) as long as He wishes, and then it will be said to me, 'O Muhammad! Raise your head and speak, for you will be listened to; and ask, for you will be granted (your request); and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted.' I will then raise my head and praise my Lord with certain praises which He has taught me, and then I will intercede. Allah will allow me to intercede (for a certain kind of people) and will fix a limit whom I will admit into Paradise. I will come back again, and when I see my Lord (again), I will fall down in prostration before Him, and He will leave me (in prostration) as long as He wishes, and then He will say, 'O Muhammad! Raise your head and speak, for you will be listened to; and ask, for you will be granted (your request); and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted.' I will then praise my Lord with certain praises which He has taught me, and then I will intercede. Allah will allow me to intercede (for a certain kind of people) and will fix a limit to whom I will admit into Paradise, I will return again, and when I see my Lord, I will fall down (in prostration) and He will leave me (in prostration) as long as He wishes, and then He will say, 'O Muhammad! Raise your head and speak, for you will be listened to, and ask, for you will be granted (your request); and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted.' I will then praise my Lord with certain praises which He has taught me, and then I will intercede. Allah will allow me to intercede (for a certain kind of people) and will fix a limit to whom I will admit into Paradise. I will come back and say, 'O my Lord! None remains in Hell (Fire) but those whom Qur'an has imprisoned therein and for whom eternity in Hell (Fire) has become inevitable.' The Prophet added, There will come out of Hell (Fire) everyone who says: 'La ilaha illal-lah,' and has in his heart good equal to the weight of a barley grain. Then there will come out of Hell (Fire) everyone who says: ' La ilaha illal-lah,' and has in his heart good equal to the weight of a wheat grain. Then there will come out of Hell (Fire) everyone who says: 'La ilaha illal-lah,' and has in his heart good equal to the weight of an atom (or a smallest ant).
سیدنا انس ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: قیامت کے دن تمام اہل ایمان کو اکٹھا کیا جائے گا تو وہ کہیں گے: کاش! ہم کسی کی سفارش کے لیے اللہ کے حضور لے جائیں تاکہ ہمیں وہ اس حالت سے آرام دے دے، چنانچہ وہ سب مل کر سیدنا آدم ؑ کے پاس آئیں گے اور ان سے عرض کریں گے: اے آدم! آپ لوگوں کی حالت کو نہیں دیکھتے کہ وہ کس بلا میں گرفتار ہیں؟ آپ کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے ہاتھ سے بنایا، پھر فرشتوں سے سجدہ کرایا اور تمام اشیاء کے نام آپ کو سکھائے آپ اپنے رب کے حضور ہماری سفارش کریں تاکہ وہ ہمیں اس حالت سے نکات دے۔ سیدنا آدم ؑ کہیں گے: میں اس منصب کے لائق نہیں ہوں۔ اور وہ ان کے سامنے اس غلطی کا ذکر کریں گے جو ان سے سرزد ہوئی تھی لیکن تم نوح ؑ کے پاس جاؤ۔ وہ اللہ کی طرف سے پہلے رسول ہیں جنہیں اللہ تعالیٰ نے اہل زمین کی طرف بھیجا تھا۔ پھر سب لوگ سیدنا نوح ؑ کے پاس آئیں گے تو وہ بھی یہی جواب دیں گے کہ میں اس قابل نہیں ہوں اور وہ اپنی اس غلطی کو یاد کریں گے جو ان سے سرزد ہوئیں تھیں۔ ہاں تم سیدنا موسیٰ ؑ کے پاس جاؤ، وہ اللہ کے بندے ہیں انہیں اللہ تعالیٰ نے تورات دی اور بلاواسطہ ان سے کلام کیا۔ یہ سن کر وہ سب سیدنا موسیٰ ؑ کے پاس آئیں گے تو وہ بھی کہیں گے: میں اس لائق نہیں ہوں اور اپنی اس خطا کو یاد کریں گے جوان سے دنیا میں سرزد ہوئی تھی، ہاں تم سیدنا عیسیٰ ؑ کے پاس جاؤ تو وہ بھی یہی کہیں گے کہ میں اس قابل نہیں ہوں لیکن تم سب سیدنا محمد ﷺ کے پاس جاؤ۔ وہ اللہ کے ایسے بندے ہیں جن کی اگلی پچھلی سب خطائیں اللہ تعالیٰ نے معاف کر دی ہیں۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: پھر وہ سب لوگ میرے پاس آئیں گے میں چل پڑوں گا اور اللہ کے حضور حاضر ہونے کی اجازت مانگوں گا تو مجھے اجازت دی جائے گی۔ اپنے رب کو دیکھتے ہی میں سجدے میں گرجاؤں گا اور جب تک اسے منظور ہوگا وہ مجھے سجدے ہی میں پڑا رہنے دے گا۔ اس کے بعد ارشاد ہوگا: اے محمد! اپنا سر اٹھاؤ تم جو کہو گے اسے سنا جائےگا، جو سوال کرو گے تمہیں دیا جائے گا اور جو سفارش کرو گے اسے قبول کیا جائے گا۔ میں اس وقت اللہ تعالیٰ کی ایسی تعریفیں کروں گا جو اللہ تعالیٰ مجھے سکھائے گا، پھر سفارش کروں گا تو میرے لیے مخصوص لوگوں کی حد مقرر کی جائے گی۔ میں انہیں جنت میں لے جاؤں گا، پھر لوٹ کر اپنے رب کے حضور آؤں گا۔ اسے دیکھتے ہی سجدے میں گر جاؤں گا۔ جب تک اللہ تعالیٰ چاہے گا مجھے سجدے میں پڑا رہنے دے گا۔ اس کے بعد مجھے کہا جائے گا: اے محمد! اپنا اٹھاؤ۔ تم جو کہو گے اسے سنا جائے گا۔ جو سوال کرو گے وہ پورا کیا جائے گا اور جو سفارش کرو گے اسے قبول کیا جائے گا۔ پھر اپنے رب کی ایسی تعریفیں کروں گا جو مجھے الہام کرے گا، اس کے بعد میں سفارش کروں گا جو اس وقت وہ مجھے الہام کرے گا، اس کے بعد میں سفارش کروں گا تو میرے لیے الہام کرے گا، اس کے بعد میں سفارش کروں گا تو میرے لیے ایک حد مقرر کر دی جائے گی۔ میں انہیں بہشت میں لے جاؤں گا، پھر لوٹ کر اپنے رب کے پاس حاضر ہوں گا تو اسے دیکھتے ہی سجدے میں گرجاؤں گا، جب تک اللہ چاہے گا مجھے سجدے میں پڑا رہنے دے گا۔ پھر کہا جائے گا: اے محمد! اپنا سر اٹھاؤ۔ تم جو کہو گے سنا جائے گا جو سوال کروگے پورا کیا جائے گا اور سفارش کرو گا تو میرے لیے حد مقرر کردی جائے گی۔ میں انہیں جنت میں لے جاؤں گا پھر لوٹ آؤں گا تو عرض کروں گا: اے میرے رب! اب دوزخ میں وہی لوگ باقی رہ گئے ہیں جنہیں قرآن نے روک رکھا ہے اور ان پر جہنم میں ہمیشہ کے لیے ٹھہرنا واجب ہو چکا ہے۔ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: آخر کار دوزخ سے وہ لوگ بھی نکال لیے جائیں گے جنہوں نے لا اله اللہ پڑھا ہوگا اور ان کے دل میں ایک جو کے برابر ایمان ہوگا۔ پھر وہ لوگ بھی نکال لیے جائیں گے جنہوں نے لا اله اللہ پڑھا ہوگا اور ان کے دل میں گندم کے دانے کے برابر ایمان ہوگا۔ بالآخر وہ لوگ بھی نکال لیے جائیں گے جنہوں نے لا اله اللہ پڑھا ہوگا اور انکے دلوں میں زرہ برابر ایمان ہوگا۔
Sayyiduna Anas (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: Qayamat ke din tamam ahl-e-iman ko iktha kiya jaye ga to woh kahein ge: Kaash! Hum kisi ki sifarish ke liye Allah ke huzoor le jayein taake humein woh is halat se aaram de de, chunanche woh sab mil kar Sayyiduna Adam (Alaihis Salam) ke paas aayein ge aur un se arz karein ge: Ay Adam! Aap logon ki halat ko nahi dekhte ke woh kis bala mein giriftar hain? Aap ko Allah Ta'ala ne apne hath se banaya, phir farishton se sajda karaya aur tamam ashya ke naam Aap ko sikhaye Aap apne Rabb ke huzoor hamari sifarish karein taake woh humein is halat se najat de. Sayyiduna Adam (Alaihis Salam) kahein ge: Main is mansab ke laiq nahi hoon. Aur woh un ke samne is ghalti ka zikr karein ge jo un se sarzad hui thi lekin tum Nooh (Alaihis Salam) ke paas jao. Woh Allah ki taraf se pehle Rasool hain jinhein Allah Ta'ala ne ahl-e-zameen ki taraf bheja tha. Phir sab log Sayyiduna Nooh (Alaihis Salam) ke paas aayein ge to woh bhi yehi jawab dein ge ke main is qabil nahi hoon aur woh apni is ghalti ko yaad karein ge jo un se sarzad hui thin. Haan tum Sayyiduna Musa (Alaihis Salam) ke paas jao, woh Allah ke bande hain unhein Allah Ta'ala ne Taurat di aur bila-wasita un se kalam kiya. Yeh sun kar woh sab Sayyiduna Musa (Alaihis Salam) ke paas aayein ge to woh bhi kahein ge: Main is laiq nahi hoon aur apni is khata ko yaad karein ge jo un se dunya mein sarzad hui thi, haan tum Sayyiduna Isa (Alaihis Salam) ke paas jao to woh bhi yehi kahein ge ke main is qabil nahi hoon lekin tum sab Sayyiduna Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke paas jao. Woh Allah ke aise bande hain jin ki agli pichli sab khatayein Allah Ta'ala ne maaf kar di hain. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: Phir woh sab log mere paas aayein ge main chal paroon ga aur Allah ke huzoor hazir hone ki ijazat mangoon ga to mujhe ijazat di jaye gi. Apne Rabb ko dekhte hi main sajde mein gir jaon ga aur jab tak isay manzoor hoga woh mujhe sajde hi mein para rehne de ga. Is ke baad irshad hoga: Ay Muhammad! Apna sar uthao tum jo kaho ge isay suna jaye ga, jo sawal karo ge tumhein diya jaye ga aur jo sifarish karo ge isay qabool kiya jaye ga. Main is waqt Allah Ta'ala ki aisi tareefein karoon ga jo Allah Ta'ala mujhe sikhaye ga, phir sifarish karoon ga to mere liye makhsoos logon ki had muqarrar ki jaye gi. Main unhein jannat mein le jaon ga, phir lout kar apne Rabb ke huzoor aaon ga. Isay dekhte hi sajde mein gir jaon ga. Jab tak Allah Ta'ala chahe ga mujhe sajde mein para rehne de ga. Is ke baad mujhe kaha jaye ga: Ay Muhammad! Apna sar uthao. Tum jo kaho ge isay suna jaye ga. Jo sawal karo ge woh poora kiya jaye ga aur jo sifarish karo ge isay qabool kiya jaye ga. Phir apne Rabb ki aisi tareefein karoon ga jo mujhe ilham kare ga, is ke baad main sifarish karoon ga jo us waqt woh mujhe ilham kare ga, is ke baad main sifarish karoon ga to mere liye ek had muqarrar kar di jaye gi. Main unhein bahisht mein le jaon ga, phir lout kar apne Rabb ke paas hazir hoon ga to isay dekhte hi sajde mein gir jaon ga, jab tak Allah chahe ga mujhe sajde mein para rehne de ga. Phir kaha jaye ga: Ay Muhammad! Apna sar uthao. Tum jo kaho ge suna jaye ga jo sawal karo ge poora kiya jaye ga aur sifarish karo ge to mere liye had muqarrar kardi jaye gi. Main unhein jannat mein le jaon ga phir lout aaon ga to arz karoon ga: Ay mere Rabb! Ab dozakh mein wahi log baqi reh gaye hain jinhein Quran ne rok rakkha hai aur un par jahannum mein hamesha ke liye thaharna wajib ho chuka hai. Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: Aakhir-e-kar dozakh se woh log bhi nikal liye jayein ge jinhone La ilaha illallah parha hoga aur un ke dil mein ek jao ke barabar iman hoga. Phir woh log bhi nikal liye jayein ge jinhone La ilaha illallah parha hoga aur un ke dil mein gandam ke dane ke barabar iman hoga. Bil-aakhir woh log bhi nikal liye jayein ge jinhone La ilaha illallah parha hoga aur unke dilon mein zarra barabar iman hoga.
حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاذُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : يَجْمَعُ اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، كَذَلِكَ فَيَقُولُونَ : لَوِ اسْتَشْفَعْنَا إِلَى رَبِّنَا حَتَّى يُرِيحَنَا مِنْ مَكَانِنَا هَذَا ، فَيَأْتُونَ آدَمَ ، فَيَقُولُونَ : يَا آدَمُ ، أَمَا تَرَى النَّاسَ ، خَلَقَكَ اللَّهُ بِيَدِهِ ، وَأَسْجَدَ لَكَ مَلَائِكَتَهُ ، وَعَلَّمَكَ أَسْمَاءَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ، اشْفَعْ لَنَا إِلَى رَبِّنَا حَتَّى يُرِيحَنَا مِنْ مَكَانِنَا هَذَا ، فَيَقُولُ : لَسْتُ هُنَاكَ وَيَذْكُرُ لَهُمْ خَطِيئَتَهُ الَّتِي أَصَابَهَا وَلَكِنْ ائْتُوا نُوحًا ، فَإِنَّهُ أَوَّلُ رَسُولٍ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ ، فَيَأْتُونَ نُوحًا ، فَيَقُولُ : لَسْتُ هُنَاكُمْ وَيَذْكُرُ خَطِيئَتَهُ الَّتِي أَصَابَ وَلَكِنْ ائْتُوا إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلَ الرَّحْمَنِ ، فَيَأْتُونَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، فَيَقُولُ : لَسْتُ هُنَاكُمْ وَيَذْكُرُ لَهُمْ خَطَايَاهُ الَّتِي أَصَابَهَا وَلَكِنْ ائْتُوا مُوسَى عَبْدًا آتَاهُ اللَّهُ التَّوْرَاةَ وَكَلَّمَهُ تَكْلِيمًا ، فَيَأْتُونَ مُوسَى ، فَيَقُولُ : لَسْتُ هُنَاكُمْ وَيَذْكُرُ لَهُمْ خَطِيئَتَهُ الَّتِي أَصَابَ وَلَكِنْ ائْتُوا عِيسَى عَبْدَ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولَهُ وَكَلِمَتَهُ وَرُوحَهُ فَيَأْتُونَ عِيسَى ، فَيَقُولُ : لَسْتُ هُنَاكُمْ وَلَكِنْ ائْتُوا مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَبْدًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبهِ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ ، فَيَأْتُونِي ، فَأَنْطَلِقُ ، فَأَسْتَأْذِنُ عَلَى رَبِّي ، فَيُؤْذَنُ لِي عَلَيْهِ ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُ رَبِّي وَقَعْتُ لَهُ سَاجِدًا ، فَيَدَعُنِي مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَدَعَنِي ، ثُمَّ يُقَالُ لِي : ارْفَعْ مُحَمَّدُ ، وَقُلْ يُسْمَعْ ، وَسَلْ تُعْطَهْ ، وَاشْفَعْ تُشَفَّعْ ، فَأَحْمَدُ رَبِّي بِمَحَامِدَ عَلَّمَنِيهَا ، ثُمَّ أَشْفَعُ ، فَيَحُدُّ لِي حَدًّا ، فَأُدْخِلُهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ ، ثُمَّ أَرْجِعُ ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُ رَبِّي وَقَعْتُ سَاجِدًا ، فَيَدَعُنِي مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَدَعَنِي ، ثُمَّ يُقَالُ : ارْفَعْ مُحَمَّدُ ، وَقُلْ يُسْمَعْ ، وَسَلْ تُعْطَهْ ، وَاشْفَعْ تُشَفَّعْ ، فَأَحْمَدُ رَبِّي بِمَحَامِدَ عَلَّمَنِيهَا رَبِّي ثُمَّ أَشْفَعُ ، فَيَحُدُّ لِي حَدًّا فَأُدْخِلُهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ ، ثُمَّ أَرْجِعُ ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُ رَبِّي وَقَعْتُ سَاجِدًا ، فَيَدَعُنِي مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَدَعَنِي ، ثُمَّ يُقَالُ : ارْفَعْ مُحَمَّدُ ، قُلْ يُسْمَعْ ، وَسَلْ تُعْطَهْ ، وَاشْفَعْ تُشَفَّعْ ، فَأَحْمَدُ رَبِّي بِمَحَامِدَ عَلَّمَنِيهَا ثُمَّ أَشْفَعْ ، فَيَحُدُّ لِي حَدًّا فَأُدْخِلُهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ ، ثُمَّ أَرْجِعُ ، فَأَقُولُ : يَا رَبِّ ، مَا بَقِيَ فِي النَّارِ إِلَّا مَنْ حَبَسَهُ الْقُرْآنُ وَوَجَبَ عَلَيْهِ الْخُلُودُ ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : يَخْرُجُ مِنَ النَّارِ مَنْ قَالَ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَكَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ مَا يَزِنُ شَعِيرَةً ، ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ مِنَ النَّارِ مَنْ قَالَ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَكَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ مَا يَزِنُ بُرَّةً ، ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ مِنَ النَّارِ مَنْ قَالَ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَكَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مَا يَزِنُ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ ذَرَّةً .
