Sunan al-Darimi 1565
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered eight rak'ahs and four prostrations in Salat al-Kusuf (the prayer of the solar eclipse).

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے صلاة الكسوف میں آٹھ رکوع اور چار سجدے کئے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Salat al-Kusuf mein aath ruku aur chaar sajde kiye.
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمَدِينِيُّ، وَمُسَدَّدٌ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "صَلَّى فِي كُسُوفٍ ثَمَانَ رَكَعَاتٍ فِي أَرْبَعِ سَجَدَاتٍ".
