Sunan al-Darimi 2686
Zarra bin 'Abdur-Rahman narrated from his father, 'Abdur-Rahman (bin Jarhud, may Allah be pleased with him), who was among the People of the Verandah, that he said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was sitting with us and my thigh was exposed. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Cover it, do you not know that the thigh is 'awrah (i.e., something to be concealed)?'"

زرعہ بن عبدالرحمٰن نے اپنے والد عبدالرحمٰن (بن جرہد رضی اللہ عنہ) سے روایت کیا جو اصحابِ صفہ میں سے تھے، انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ ہمارے پاس بیٹھے اور میری ران کھلی ہوئی تھی۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اس کو ڈھک لو، کیا تمہیں معلوم نہیں کہ ران عورة ہے (یعنی چھپانے کی چیز ہے)۔“
Zara bin Abdur Rahman ne apne wald Abdur Rahman (bin Jarhad Radi Allahu anhu) se riwayat kya jo Ashab-e-Suffa mein se thay, unhon ne kaha: Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hamare pass baithe aur meri ran khuli hui thi. Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Is ko dhak lo, kya tumhen malum nahin ki ran awrah hai (yani chhupane ki cheez hai).”.
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، عَنْ زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الصُّفَّةِ، قَالَ: جَلَسَ عِنْدَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَفَخِذِي مُنْكَشِفَةٌ، فَقَالَ: "خَمِّرْ عَلَيْكَ، أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ الْفَخِذَ عَوْرَةٌ؟".
