Sunan al-Darimi 3181
It is narrated from Salim, that his father, Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) would inherit from the freed slaves of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) except for Umar's daughters, meaning they would not give anything to the daughters from the inheritance of the slaves.
Grade: Sahih
سالم سے مروی ہے، ان کے والد سیدنا عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کے آزاد کردہ غلاموں کے وارث ہوتے تھے عمر کی لڑکیوں کو چھوڑ کر، یعنی غلاموں کے ولاء سے لڑکیوں کو کچھ نہ دیتے تھے۔
Salim se marvi hai, un ke walid syedna Abdullah raziallahu anhu syedna Umar raziallahu anhu ke azad kardah ghulamon ke waris hote thay Umar ki larkiyon ko chhor kar, yani ghulamon ke wilayat se larkiyon ko kuch na dete thay.
(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ "يَرِثُ مَوَالِيَ عُمَرَ دُونَ بَنَاتِ عُمَرَ".
