Narrated Ibn Umar: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) raced the horses which had been kept ready for running between Al-Hafya' and Thaniyat-al-Wada', and their destination was Thaniyat-al-Wada'. And he raced them among the horses which had not been prepared for racing, between that place and the mosque of Bani Zuraiq. Abdullah was one of those who raced on that day.
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان گھوڑوں کو دوڑ لگائی جو الحفیاء اور ثنیۃ الوداع کے درمیان دوڑنے کے لیے تیار کیے گئے تھے اور ان کی منزل ثنیۃ الوداع تھی۔ اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان گھوڑوں کو بھی دوڑ لگائی جو دوڑ کے لیے تیار نہیں کیے گئے تھے اس جگہ اور مسجد بنی زریق کے درمیان۔ عبداللہ ان لوگوں میں سے تھے جنہوں نے اس دن دوڑ لگائی۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar razi Allah anhuma se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne un ghoron ko daud lagai jo al-hifa aur saniyat al-wada ke darmiyan daudne ke liye taiyar kiye gaye the aur un ki manzil saniyat al-wada thi. Aur aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne un ghoron ko bhi daud lagai jo daud ke liye taiyar nahi kiye gaye the us jagah aur Masjid Bani Zarqa ke darmiyan. Abdullah un logon mein se the jinhon ne us din daud lagai.
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَابِقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ الَّتِي قَدْ ضُمِّرَتْ مِنَ الْحَفْيَاءِ إِلَى ثَنِيَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ وَكَانَ أَمَدُهَا ثَنِيَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ وَسَابَقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ الَّتِي لَمْ تُضَمَّرْ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ» قَالَ وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فِيمَنْ سَابِقَ بِهَا «
