Sahih Ibn Hibban 2094
Jabir ibn Samurah reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought a dish of tharid (bread soup) containing garlic, but he did not eat from it and sent it to Abu Ayyub. Abu Ayyub used to place his hand where he saw the hand of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he placed his hand but when he did not see the trace of the hand of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he did not eat. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and said to him, "I did not see your hand in it." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It contains the smell of garlic and I have an angel with me."
جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے لیے لہسن والا ثرید (شوربہ روٹی) کا ایک برتن لایا گیا، لیکن آپ ﷺ نے اس میں سے نہ کھایا اور اسے ابو ایوب رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس بھیج دیا۔ ابو ایوب رضی اللہ عنہ اپنا ہاتھ وہیں رکھتے تھے جہاں وہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کا ہاتھ دیکھتے تھے، انہوں نے اپنا ہاتھ رکھا لیکن جب انہوں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ہاتھ کا نشان نہ دیکھا تو انہوں نے نہ کھایا۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ تشریف لائے اور ان سے فرمایا، "میں نے اس میں تمہارا ہاتھ نہیں دیکھا۔" رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا، "اس میں لہسن کی بو ہے اور میرے ساتھ ایک فرشتہ ہے۔"
Jibir bin Samra Radi Allaho Anho se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke liye lahsan wala sareed (shorba roti) ka ek bartan laya gaya, lekin aap Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne is mein se na khaya aur ise Abu Ayyub Radi Allaho Anho ke paas bhej diya. Abu Ayyub Radi Allaho Anho apna hath wahin rakhte thay jahan woh Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ka hath dekhte thay, unhon ne apna hath rakha lekin jab unhon ne Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke hath ka nishan na dekha to unhon ne na khaya. Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam tashreef laye aur un se farmaya, "main ne is mein tumhara hath nahin dekha." Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya, "is mein lahsan ki bu hai aur mere sath ek farishta hai."
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِقَصْعَةٍ مِنْ ثَرِيدٍ فِيهَا ثُومٌ فَلَمْ يَأْكُلْ مِنْهَا وَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى أَبِي أَيُّوبَ وَكَانَ أَبُو أَيُّوبَ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ حَيْثُ يَرَى يَدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ فَلَمَّا لَمْ يَرَ أَثَرَ يَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَمْ يَأْكُلْ فَأَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَهُ إِنِّي لَمْ أَرَ أَثَرَ يَدِكَ فِيهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «فِيهَا رِيحُ الثُّومِ وَمَعِي مَلَكٌ»
