Sahih Ibn Hibban 2949
Yazid narrated to us and said: Ibrahim narrated to us Hammad ibn Salama on the authority of Thabit al-Bunani, on the authority of Ibn Umar ibn Abi Salama, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Umm Salama, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Whoever is afflicted with a calamity, let him say: 'Indeed we belong to Allah , and indeed to Him we will return. O Allah, I seek reward from You for my affliction, so reward me in it and replace it for me with something better than it." When Abu Salama died, I said it, so He replaced it for me with something better than it - that is, with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. I said to myself: “Who could be better than Abu Salama?!” When her waiting period was over, Abu Bakr sent a marriage proposal to her, but she did not marry him. Then Umar sent a marriage proposal to her, but she did not marry him either. So the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, sent Umar ibn al-Khattab to propose marriage to her on his behalf. She said: "Inform the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that I am a woman who gets jealous, and I am a grief-stricken woman, and none of my guardians are present to witness (the marriage proposal)." So he came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and mentioned that to him. He said: “Go back to her and say: ‘As for your statement that you are a woman who gets jealous, then I ask Allah to take away your jealousy. And as for your statement that you are a grief-stricken woman, then Allah is sufficient for your young ones. And as for your statement that none of your guardians are present to witness, then none of your guardians, present or absent, would dislike that." So she said to her son: “O Umar, get up and give me in marriage to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.” So he gave her in marriage to him. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to come to her to enter upon her. When she saw him, she took her daughter, Zaynab, and placed her in her lap. So the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, would turn away. Ammar ibn Yasir, who was her brother through breastfeeding, found out about that. So he came to her and said: “Who is this wretched one (the little girl) who has harmed the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?” So he took her and went away with her. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came and entered upon her. He began looking around in the corners of the house and said: “What has happened to Zaynab?” She said: “Ammar came and took her and went away with her.” The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, built (a house) for her and said: “I will not reduce anything from what I have given so-and-so (i.e., another of his wives): two hand-mills, two large jars, and a saddle-pad stuffed with fiber.” And he said: “If I have appointed seven (days), I have appointed seven for my wives.”
یزید نے ہمیں بیان کیا اور کہا: ابراہیم نے ہمیں حماد بن سلمہ نے ثابت البنانی کی سند سے، انہوں نے ابن عمر بن ابی سلمہ سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے بیان کیا، کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جب کسی پر کوئی مصیبت آئے تو وہ کہے: ' انا للہ وانا الیہ راجعون، اللہم اجرنی فی مصیبتی واخلف لی خیرا منها " (ہم اللہ کے لیے ہیں اور ہم اسی کی طرف لوٹ کر جائیں گے۔ اے اللہ! مجھے میری اس مصیبت میں اجر عطا فرما اور اس کے بدلے میں مجھے اس سے بہتر چیز عطا فرما)۔" جب ابو سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ کا انتقال ہوگیا تو میں نے یہی کہا، تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کے بدلے مجھے ان سے بہتر چیز عطا فرمائی یعنی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو۔ میں نے اپنے آپ سے کہا: “ابو سلمہ سے بہتر کون ہو سکتا ہے؟!” جب میری عدت پوری ہوئی تو ابو بکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے مجھے نکاح کا پیغام بھیجا، لیکن میں نے ان سے نکاح نہیں کیا۔ پھر عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے مجھے نکاح کا پیغام بھیجا، لیکن میں نے ان سے بھی نکاح نہیں کیا۔ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ کو میرے پاس اپنی طرف سے نکاح کا پیغام دینے کے لیے بھیجا۔ میں نے کہا: "رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کہہ دیجیے کہ میں ایک غیور عورت ہوں، اور میں ایک غم زدہ عورت ہوں، اور میرے کوئی ولی موجود نہیں ہیں جو (نکاح کے پیغام) کے گواہ بنیں۔" تو وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس واپس آئے اور آپ کو یہ بات بتائی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "واپس جاؤ اور اس سے کہو: 'تمہاری اس بات کے بارے میں کہ تم ایک غیور عورت ہو، تو میں اللہ سے دعا کرتا ہوں کہ وہ تمہاری غیرت کو دور کردے۔ اور تمہاری اس بات کے بارے میں کہ تم ایک غم زدہ عورت ہو، تو اللہ تعالیٰ تمہارے چھوٹے بچوں کے لیے کافی ہے۔ اور تمہاری اس بات کے بارے میں کہ تمہارے کوئی ولی موجود نہیں ہیں جو گواہ بنیں، تو تمہارے کوئی ولی، خواہ وہ موجود ہوں یا غیر حاضر، اس پر نا پسندیدگی کا اظہار نہ کریں گے۔" تو میں نے اپنے بیٹے سے کہا: “اے عمر! اٹھو اور میرا نکاح رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کردو۔" تو انہوں نے میرا نکاح آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کردیا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے پاس تشریف لاتے تھے اور اندر داخل ہوتے تھے۔ جب میں آپ کو دیکھتی تو میں اپنی بیٹی زینب کو لے کر اپنی گود میں بٹھالیتی۔ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم واپس چلے جاتے۔ عمار بن یاسر رضی اللہ عنہ، جو رضاعت میں میرے بھائی تھے، کو اس بات کا علم ہوا۔ تو وہ میرے پاس آئے اور کہا: “یہ کون سی بدبخت (بچی) ہے جس نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو تکلیف دی ہے؟” تو وہ اسے لے کر چلے گئے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تشریف لائے اور اندر داخل ہوئے۔ آپ نے گھر کے کونوں میں ادھر ادھر دیکھنا شروع کیا اور فرمایا: “زینب کو کیا ہوا؟” میں نے کہا: “عمار آئے اور اسے لے کر چلے گئے۔” رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے (میرے لیے) ایک (گھر) بنوایا اور فرمایا: “میں فلاں (یعنی اپنی ایک اور بیوی) کو جو کچھ دیا ہے اس میں سے کچھ بھی کم نہیں کروں گا: دو دستی چکیاں، دو بڑے مٹکے، اور ایک ریشے دار زین پوش۔" اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "اگر میں نے سات (دن) مقرر کیے ہیں تو میں نے اپنی بیویوں کے لیے سات مقرر کیے ہیں۔"
Yazid ne humein bayan kya aur kaha: Ibrahim ne humein Hammad bin Salma ne Sabit al-Banani ki sanad se, unhon ne Ibn Umar bin Abi Salma se, unhon ne apne walid se, unhon ne Umm Salma radi Allahu anha se bayan kya, kaha: Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab kisi par koi musibat aaye to woh kahe: 'Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un, Allahumma ajirni fi musibati wakhluf li khayran minha" (Hum Allah ke liye hain aur hum usi ki taraf laut kar jayenge. Aye Allah! Mujhe meri is musibat mein ajr ata farma aur is ke badle mein mujhe is se behtar cheez ata farma). Jab Abu Salma radi Allahu anhu ka inteqal ho gaya to main ne yahi kaha, to Allah ta'ala ne un ke badle mujhe un se behtar cheez ata farmai yani Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko. Main ne apne aap se kaha: “Abu Salma se behtar kaun ho sakta hai?!” Jab meri iddat puri hui to Abu Bakr radi Allahu anhu ne mujhe nikah ka paigham bheja, lekin main ne un se nikah nahin kya. Phir Umar radi Allahu anhu ne mujhe nikah ka paigham bheja, lekin main ne un se bhi nikah nahin kya. To Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne Umar bin Khattab radi Allahu anhu ko mere paas apni taraf se nikah ka paigham dene ke liye bheja. Main ne kaha: "Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam se kahh dijiye ki main ek ghair aurat hun, aur main ek gham zada aurat hun, aur mere koi wali maujood nahin hain jo (nikah ke paigham) ke gawaah banen." To woh Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke paas wapas aaye aur aap ko yeh baat batai. Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Wapas jao aur is se kaho: 'Tumhari is baat ke bare mein ki tum ek ghair aurat ho, to main Allah se dua karta hun ki woh tumhari ghairat ko door karde. Aur tumhari is baat ke bare mein ki tum ek gham zada aurat ho, to Allah ta'ala tumhare chhote bachchon ke liye kafi hai. Aur tumhari is baat ke bare mein ki tumhare koi wali maujood nahin hain jo gawaah banen, to tumhare koi wali, chahe woh maujood hon ya ghair hazir, is par na pasandidagi ka izhar nahin karenge." To main ne apne bete se kaha: “Aye Umar! Utho aur mera nikah Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam se kardo." To unhon ne mera nikah aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam se kardya. Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam mere paas tashreef late the aur andar dakhil hote the. Jab main aap ko dekhti to main apni beti Zainab ko lekar apni god mein bitha leti. To Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam wapas chale jate. Ammar bin Yasir radi Allahu anhu, jo riwayat mein mere bhai the, ko is baat ka ilm hua. To woh mere paas aaye aur kaha: “Yeh kaun si badbakht (bachi) hai jisne Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko takleef di hai?” To woh use lekar chale gaye. Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam tashreef laye aur andar dakhil hue. Aap ne ghar ke kono mein idhar udhar dekhna shuru kiya aur farmaya: “Zainab ko kya hua?” Main ne kaha: “Ammar aaye aur use lekar chale gaye.” Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne (mere liye) ek (ghar) banwaya aur farmaya: “Main falan (yani apni ek aur biwi) ko jo kuchh diya hai us mein se kuchh bhi kam nahin karunga: do dasti chakkiyan, do bade matke, aur ek reshe daar zeen posh.” Aur aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Agar main ne saat (din) muqarrar kiye hain to main ne apni biwiyon ke liye saat muqarrar kiye hain."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ السَّامِيُّ وَأَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ أَصَابَتْهُ مُصِيبَةٌ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَأَنَا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ اللَّهُمَّ عِنْدَكَ أَحْتَسِبُ مُصِيبَتِي فَأْجُرْنِي فِيهَا وَأَبْدِلْنِي بِهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا» فَلَمَّا مَاتَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ قُلْتُهَا فَجَعَلْتُ كُلَّمَا بَلَغْتُ أَبْدَلَنِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا قُلْتُ فِي نَفْسِي وَمَنْ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ؟ فَلَمَّا انْقَضَتْ عِدَّتُهَا بَعَثَ إِلَيْهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَخْطُبُهَا فَلَمْ تَزَوَّجْهُ ثُمَّ بَعَثَ إِلَيْهَا عُمَرُ يَخْطُبُهَا فَلَمْ تَزَوَّجْهُ فَبَعَثَ إِلَيْهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ يَخْطُبُهَا عَلَيْهِ قَالَتْ أَخْبِرْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنِّي امْرَأَةٌ غَيْرَى وَأَنِّي امْرَأَةٌ مُصْبِيَةٌ وَلَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَوْلِيَائِي شَاهِدًا فَأَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ «ارْجِعْ إِلَيْهَا فَقُلْ لَهَا أَمَّا قَوْلُكِ إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ غَيْرَى فَأُسْأَلُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُذْهِبَ غَيْرَتَكِ وَأَمَّا قَوْلُكِ إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ مُصْبِيَةٌ فَتُكْفَينَ صِبْيَانَكِ وَأَمَّا قَوْلُكِ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَوْلِيَائِكِ شَاهِدًا فَلَيْسَ مِنْ أَوْلِيَائِكِ شَاهِدٌ وَلَا غَائِبٌ يَكْرَهُ ذَلِكَ» فَقَالَتْ لِابْنِهَا يَا عُمَرُ قُمْ فَزَوِّجْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَزَوَّجَهُ فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْتِيهَا لِيَدْخُلَ بِهَا فَإِذَا رَأَتْهُ أَخَذَتِ ابْنَتَهَا زَيْنَبَ فَجَعَلْتُهَا فِي حِجْرِهَا فَيَنْقَلِبُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَعَلِمَ بِذَلِكَ عَمَّارُ بْنُ يَاسِرٍ وَكَانَ أَخَاهَا مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ فَجَاءَ إِلَيْهَا فَقَالَ يْنَ هَذِهِ الْمَقْبُوحَةُ الَّتِي قَدْ آذَيْتِ بِهَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأَخَذَهَا فَذَهَبَ بِهَا فَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَجَعَلَ يَضْرِبُ بِبَصَرِهِ فِي جَوَانِبِ الْبَيْتِ وَقَالَ «مَا فَعَلَتْ زَيْنَبُ؟ » قَالَتْ جَاءَ عَمَّارٌ فَأَخَذَهَا فَذَهَبَ بِهَا فَبَنَى بِهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ «إِنِّي لَا أَنْقُصُكِ مِمَّا أَعْطَيْتُ فُلَانَةَ رَحَاءَيْنِ وَجَرَّتَيْنِ وَمِرْفَقَةً حَشْوُهَا لِيفٌ» وَقَالَ «إِنْ سَبَّعْتُ لَكِ سَبَّعْتُ لِنِسَائِي»
