Sahih Ibn Hibban 3186
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Who do you consider to be a martyr among you?” They said, “O Messenger of Allah, whoever is killed for the sake of Allah is a martyr.” The Prophet said, “Then the martyrs of my nation would be few. Whoever is killed for the sake of Allah is a martyr, whoever dies for the sake of Allah is a martyr, whoever dies of the plague is a martyr, and whoever dies of a stomach ailment is a martyr.”
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "تم میں سے کسے شہید سمجھتے ہو؟" صحابہ نے کہا: "اللہ کے رسول! جو اللہ کی راہ میں مارا جائے وہ شہید ہے۔" آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "تو میری امت کے شہید تو بہت کم ہوں گے۔ جو اللہ کی راہ میں مارا جائے وہ شہید ہے، جو اللہ کی راہ میں مرے وہ شہید ہے، جو طاعون سے مرے وہ شہید ہے اور جو پیٹ کے درد سے مرے وہ بھی شہید ہے۔"
Hazrat Abu Huraira Razzi Allah Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Tum mein se kise shaheed samajhte ho?" Sahaba ne kaha: "Allah ke Rasool! Jo Allah ki raah mein mara jaye woh shaheed hai." Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "To meri ummat ke shaheed to bahut kam honge. Jo Allah ki raah mein mara jaye woh shaheed hai, jo Allah ki raah mein mare woh shaheed hai, jo taoon se mare woh shaheed hai aur jo pet ke dard se mare woh bhi shaheed hai."
أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ تَعُدُّونَ الشُّهَدَاءَ فِيكُمْ؟ » قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ قَالَ «إِنَّ شُهَدَاءَ أُمَّتِي إِذًا لَقَلِيلٌ» قَالُوا مَنْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي الطَّاعُونِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي بَطْنٍ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»
