Sahih Ibn Hibban 3462
Narrated Adi bin Hatim: When the verse "And eat and drink until the white thread (light) of dawn appears to you distinct from the black thread (darkness of night)." was revealed, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "It is nothing but the whiteness of the daytime and the blackness of the night."
حضرت عدی بن حاتم رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ جب یہ آیت "اور کھاؤ پیو یہاں تک کہ صبح کی سفیدی تم پر رات کی سیاہی سے واضح ہو جائے" نازل ہوئی تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا "یہ دن کی سفیدی اور رات کی سیاہی کے سوا کچھ نہیں ہے"۔
Hazrat Adi bin Hatim Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki jab yeh ayat "Aur khao piyo yahan tak ki subah ki safedi tum par raat ki siyahi se wazeh ho jaye" nazil hui to Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya "Yeh din ki safedi aur raat ki siyahi ke siwa kuch nahi hai".
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا حُصَيْنٌ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي عَدِيُّ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ {وَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّى يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمُ الْخَيْطُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الْخَيْطِ الْأَسْوَدِ} قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ بَيَاضُ النَّهَارِ وَسَوَادُ اللَّيْلِ»
