Sahih Ibn Hibban 4727
Malik narrated to us from Nafi from the son of Umar, who said: "I was presented to the Prophet (ﷺ) on the day of Uhud when I was fourteen years old, and I had not yet reached puberty, so he did not accept me. Then I was presented to him on the day of the Trench when I was fifteen years old, and he accepted me."
مالک نے نافع سے روایت کی، انہوں نے حضرت عمر کے بیٹے سے کہ انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ "میں احد کے دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے پیش کیا گیا جب میری عمر چودہ سال تھی اور میں ابھی بالغ نہیں ہوا تھا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے قبول نہیں فرمایا۔ پھر میں جنگِ خندق کے دن جب میں پندرہ سال کا ہوگیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے پیش کیا گیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے قبول فرما لیا۔"
Malik ne Nafi se riwayat ki, unhon ne Hazrat Umar ke bete se keh unhon ne bayan kiya keh "mein Uhud ke din Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke samne pesh kiya gaya jab meri umar chaudah saal thi aur mein abhi baligh nahi hua tha to aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne mujhe qubool nahi farmaya. Phir mein جنگِ Khandaq ke din jab mein pandrah saal ka hogaya to aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke samne pesh kiya gaya to aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne mujhe qubool farma liya."
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ الدَّغُولِيُّ بِخَبَرٍ غَرِيبٍ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ دِينَارٍ الْكَرْمَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ «عُرِضْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ وَأَنَا ابْنُ أَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً وَلَمْ أَحْتَلِمْ فَلَمْ يَقْبَلْنِي ثُمَّ عُرِضْتُ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ وَأَنَا ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً فَقَبِلَنِي»
