Sahih Ibn Hibban 7025
Yahya related to me from his father from his grandfather who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say when the people fled from the Messenger of Allah until some of them reached below the mountain passes on a mountain in the direction of Medina, then they returned to the Messenger of Allah, and Hanzalah ibn Abi Amir had encountered Abu Sufyan ibn Harb, and when Hanzalah gained the upper hand, Shaddad ibn al-Aswad saw him and struck him with the sword until he killed him, and he nearly killed Abu Sufyan, so the Messenger of Allah said, "Verily, your companion Hanzalah is being washed by the angels, so ask his wife." She said, "He went out in a state of ritual impurity when he heard the outcry." The Messenger of Allah said, "That is why the angels washed him."
یحییٰ نے مجھ سے اپنے والد سے ان کے دادا سے روایت کی کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا جب لوگ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بھاگے یہاں تک کہ ان میں سے کچھ مدینہ کی طرف ایک پہاڑ پر پہاڑی درے کے نیچے پہنچ گئے تو وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی طرف واپس آئے اور حنظلہ بن ابی عامر کا سامنا ابو سفیان بن حرب سے ہوا اور جب حنظلہ غالب آ گئے تو شداد بن الاسود نے انہیں دیکھا اور ان پر تلوار سے وار کیا یہاں تک کہ انہیں شہید کر دیا اور وہ قریب تھا کہ ابو سفیان کو بھی قتل کر دیتے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا بیشک تمہارے ساتھی حنظلہ کو فرشتے غسل دے رہے ہیں سو ان کی بیوی سے پوچھو انہوں نے کہا وہ جنابت کی حالت میں نکلے تھے جب انہوں نے آواز سنی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا اسی لیے فرشتوں نے انہیں غسل دیا۔
Yahya ne mujh se apne wald se un ke dada se riwayat ki ke maine Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko ye farmate huye suna jab log Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam se bhaage yahan tak ke un mein se kuch Madina ki taraf ek pahari par pahari dare ke niche pahunch gaye to woh Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki taraf wapas aaye aur Hanzala bin Abi Amir ka samna Abu Sufyan bin Harb se hua aur jab Hanzala ghalib a gaye to Shaddad bin al-Aswad ne unhen dekha aur un par talwar se war kiya yahan tak ke unhen shaheed kar diya aur woh qareeb tha ke Abu Sufyan ko bhi qatl kar dete to Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya beshak tumhare sathi Hanzala ko farishte ghusl de rahe hain so un ki biwi se puchho unhon ne kaha woh janabat ki halat mein nikle the jab unhon ne aawaz suni to Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya isi liye farishton ne unhen ghusl diya.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَقَدْ كَانَ النَّاسُ انْهَزَمُوا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَتَّى انْتَهَى بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى دُونِ الْأَعْرَاضِ عَلَى جَبَلٍ بِنَاحِيَةِ الْمَدِينَةِ ثُمَّ رَجَعُوا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَدْ كَانَ حَنْظَلَةُ بْنُ أَبِي عَامِرٍ الْتَقَى هُوَ وَأَبُو سُفْيَانَ بْنُ حَرْبٍ فَلَمَّا اسْتَعْلَاهُ حَنْظَلَةُ رَآهُ شَدَّادُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ فَعَلَاهُ شَدَّادٌ بِالسَّيْفِ حَتَّى قَتَلَهُ وَقَدْ كَادَ يَقْتُلُ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ صَاحِبَكُمْ حَنْظَلَةَ تُغَسِّلُهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ فَسَلُوا صَاحِبَتَهُ» فَقَالَتْ خَرَجَ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ لَمَّا سَمِعَ الْهَائِعَةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «فَذَاكَ قَدْ غَسَّلَتْهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ»
