Sahih Ibn Hibban 7044
Abdullah bin Dinar reported: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent out an expeditionary force and appointed over them Usamah bin Zaid. Some people found fault with his leadership. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) stood up and said, "If you find fault with his leadership, then surely you must have found fault with the leadership of his father before him. By Allah, he was indeed worthy of leadership, and he was one of the dearest of the people to me; and this one (his son) is one of the dearest of the people to me after him."
عبداللہ بن دینار رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ایک لشکر بھیجا اور اس پر اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ کو امیر بنایا، بعض لوگوں نے ان کی امارت پر نکتہ چینی کی تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے کھڑے ہو کر خطبہ دیا اور فرمایا اگر تم اس کی امارت پر نکتہ چینی کرتے ہو تو تم سے پہلے اس کے باپ کی امارت پر بھی نکتہ چینی کی گئی تھی، اللہ کی قسم وہ امارت کے لائق تھے اور وہ مجھے لوگوں میں سے سب سے زیادہ محبوب تھے اور یہ (اس کا بیٹا) مجھے لوگوں میں سے اس کے بعد سب سے زیادہ محبوب ہے۔
Abdullah bin Dinaar razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne ek lashkar bheja aur us par Usama bin Zaid razi Allah anhu ko ameer banaya, baaz logon ne unki amart par nukta cheeni ki to Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne kharay ho kar khutba diya aur farmaya agar tum uski amart par nukta cheeni karte ho to tum se pehle uske baap ki amart par bhi nukta cheeni ki gayi thi, Allah ki qasam wo amart ke layeq thay aur wo mujhe logon mein se sab se zyada mahboob thay aur ye (uska beta) mujhe logon mein se uske baad sab se zyada mahboob hai.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّامِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْمَقَابِرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَعْثًا وَأَمَّرَ عَلَيْهِمْ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ فَطَعَنَ بَعْضُ النَّاسِ فِي إِمْرَتِهِ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «إِنْ تَطْعَنُوا فِي إِمْرَتِهِ فَقَدْ كُنْتُمْ تَطْعَنُونَ فِي إِمْرَةِ أَبِيهِ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَأَيْمُ اللَّهِ إِنْ كَانَ خَلِيقًا لِلْإِمَارَةِ وَإِنْ كَانَ لَمِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ وَإِنَّ هَذَا لَمِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ بَعْدَهُ»
