Sahih Ibn Hibban 7059
Ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, appointed Usamah ibn Zayd to command a detachment, and some people objected to his leadership. The Prophet said, "If you are criticizing his leadership, then you are criticizing the leadership of his father before him. By Allah, he was worthy of leadership and was among the most beloved of people to me. And this one (Usamah) is among the most beloved of people to me after him."
ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہما کو ایک لشکر کا سردار بنایا تو کچھ لوگوں نے ان کی امارت پر اعتراض کیا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اگر تم ان کی امارت پر نکتہ چینی کرتے ہو تو ان کے باپ کی امارت پر بھی نکتہ چینی کرتے ہو۔ اللہ کی قسم! وہ امارت کے لائق تھے اور مجھے سب سے زیادہ محبوب لوگوں میں سے تھے اور یہ (اسامہ) ان کے بعد مجھے سب سے زیادہ محبوب لوگوں میں سے ہیں۔
Ibn Umar RA se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah SAW ne Usama bin Zaid RA ko aik lashkar ka sardar banaya to kuch logon ne un ki umarat par aitraz kiya. Aap SAW ne farmaya: Agar tum un ki umarat par nukta cheeni karte ho to un ke baap ki umarat par bhi nukta cheeni karte ho. Allah ki qasam! Woh umarat ke laiq thay aur mujhe sab se zyada mehboob logon mein se thay aur yeh (Usama) un ke baad mujhe sab se zyada mehboob logon mein se hain.
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَمَّرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ عَلَى قَوْمٍ فَطَعَنُوا فِي إِمَارَتِهِ فَقَالَ ﷺ «إِنْ تَطْعَنُوا فِي إِمَارَتِهِ فَقَدْ طَعَنْتُمْ فِي إِمَارَةِ أَبِيهِ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ وَأَيْمُ اللَّهِ لَقَدْ كَانَ خَلِيقًا لِلْإِمَارَةِ وَإِنْ كَانَ لَمِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ وَإِنَّ هَذَا لَمِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ»
