Sunan Ibn Majah 3455
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that they used to narrate from the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and mention truffles, and they said, ‘(It is) the smallpox of the earth.’ When the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was told of what they were saying he said, ‘truffles are a type of manna, and the Ajwah are from Paradise, and they are a healing from poison.’

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم لوگ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس گفتگو کر رہے تھے کہ کھمبی کا ذکر آ گیا، تو لوگوں نے کہا: وہ تو زمین کی چیچک ہے، یہ بات رسول اللہ ﷺ تک پہنچی تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: کھمبی «منّ» میں سے ہے، اور عجوہ کھجور جنت کا پھل ہے، اور اس میں زہر سے شفاء ہے ۔
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke hum log Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pas guftgu kar rahe the ke khambi ka zikr aa gaya, to logoon ne kaha: woh to zameen ki chechak hai, yeh baat Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tak pahunchi to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: khambi «mann» mein se hai, aur ajwa khajoor jannat ka phal hai, aur is mein zahr se shifa hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَطَرٌ الْوَرَّاقُ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: كُنَّا نَتَحَدَّثُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرْنَا الْكَمْأَةَ، فَقَالُوا: هُوَ جُدَرِيُّ الْأَرْضِ، فَنُمِيَ الْحَدِيثُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: الْكَمْأَةُ مِنَ الْمَنِّ، وَالْعَجْوَةُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَهِيَ شِفَاءٌ مِنَ السَّمِّ .
