Chapter on the Imam’s sermon after the prayer of the eclipse.
بَابُ خُطْبَةِ الْإِمَامِ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْكُسُوفِ

Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) said that according to the narration of Sayyidina Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also delivered a sermon before the prayer. Therefore, the Imam should deliver a sermon before and after the eclipse prayer.

امام ابوبکر رحمه الله فرماتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کی روایت میں ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز سے پہلے بھی خطبہ ارشاد فرمایا تھا۔ لہٰذا امام کو چاہیے کہ وہ نماز کسوف سے پہلے اور بعد میں خطبہ دے۔

قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: وَفِي خَبَرِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ" أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ خَطَبَ أَيْضًا قَبْلَ الصَّلاةِ". فَيَنْبَغِي لِلإِمَامِ فِي الْكُسُوفِ أَنْ يَخْطُبَ قَبْلَ الصَّلاةِ وَبَعْدَهَا
