Chapter on the Imam refraining from going out again for the prayer of seeking rain if they are granted rain the first time they sought it.

Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 1424
Hazrat 'Ubadah bin Tamim narrates from his uncle, who was a companion, that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took the people to the Eidgah to pray for rain. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood and prayed, then turned towards the Qibla and turned his cloak inside out, and it rained upon the people. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) said that to the best of my knowledge, except for the narration of Shu'ayb bin Abi Hamzah, the words "fasaqahu" (and it rained upon them) are not found in any other narration.

حضرت عباد بن تمیم اپنے چچا سے روایت کرتے ہیں جو صحابی ہیں، وہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم لوگوں کو لیکر عید گاہ کی طرف بارش کی دعا کرنے کے لئے گئے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کھڑے ہو کر دعا کی پھر قبلہ رُخ ہوئے اور اپنی چادر کو اُلٹایا تو لوگوں کو بارش عطا کردی گئی۔ امام ابوبکر رحمه الله فرماتے ہیں کہ شعیب بن ابی حمزہ کی روایت کے سوا میرے علم کے مطابق کسی اور روایت میں”فاسقوا“ (انہیں بارش دے دی گئی) کے الفاظ نہیں ہیں۔
Hazrat Abbad bin Tamim apne chacha se riwayat karte hain jo sahabi hain, woh bayan karte hain ke Nabi Akram sallallahu alaihi wasallam logon ko lekar Eidgah ki taraf barish ki dua karne ke liye gaye, Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne kharay ho kar dua ki phir qibla rukh huye aur apni chadar ko ultaya to logon ko barish ata kardi gayi. Imam Abu Bakr rehmatullah alaih farmate hain ke Shaib bin Abi Hamza ki riwayat ke siwa mere ilm ke mutabiq kisi aur riwayat mein "fasqoo" (unhen barish de di gayi) ke alfaz nahi hain.
نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، نَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبَّادُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ ، أَنَّ عَمَّهُ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَهُ" أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ بِالنَّاسِ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى يَسْتَسْقِي لَهُمْ، فَقَامَ فَدَعَا قَائِمًا، ثُمَّ تَوَجَّهَ قِبَلَ الْقِبْلَةِ وَحَوَّلَ رِدَاءَهُ فَأُسْقُوا" . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: لَيْسَ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنَ الأَخْبَارِ أَعْلَمُهُ" فَأُسْقُوا" إِلا فِي خَبَرِ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ
