كِتَابُ الْمَنَاسِكِ
Chapter on clarifying that the purpose of stoning the pillars is to establish the remembrance of Allah, not just for the act of stoning.
بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْبَيَانِ أَنَّ رَمْيَ الْجِمَارِ إِنَّمَا أَرَادَ لِإِقَامَةِ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ لَا لِلرَّمْيِ فَقَطْ.

Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 2970
Narrated Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Circumambulating the House (Ka'bah), going between Safa and Marwa, and throwing stones at the Jamarat are only ordained for the remembrance of Allah."
سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”بلاشبہ بیت اللہ کا طواف، صفا مروہ کی سعی اور جمرات کی رمی اللہ تعالیٰ کے ذکر کو قائم کرنے کے لئے مقرر کی گئی ہے۔“
Sayyidah Aaishah Radi Allahu Anha bayan karti hain keh Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Bilashuba Baitullah ka tawaaf, Safa Marwah ki sa'ee aur Jamarat ki rami Allah Taala ke zikr ko qaim karne ke liye muqarar ki gayi hai."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ الطَّوَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ، وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ، وَرَمْيُ الْجِمَارِ لإِقَامَةِ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ"
