Ibn ‘Abbas said that after God’s messenger had prayed the noon prayer at Dhul Hulaifa he called for his she-camel, marked it on the right side of its hump, removed the blood from it, and tied two sandals on its neck. He then mounted his riding-beast, and when it brought him up to al-Baida’ he raised his voice in thetalbiyafor the pilgrimage.

ابن عباس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے نماز ظہر ذوالحلیفہ کے مقام پر ادا کی ، پھر آپ نے اپنی اونٹنی منگوائی ، آپ نے اس کی کوہان کے دائیں پہلو پر ہلکا سا زخم لگایا ، وہاں سے خون بہنے لگا ، آپ نے وہ خون صاف کر دیا اور اس کی گردن میں دو جوتے ڈال دیے ، پھر آپ اپنی سواری پر سوار ہو گئے ، جب وہ بیداء میں آپ کو لے کر سیدھی کھڑی ہو گئی تو آپ نے حج کے لیے تلبیہ پکارا ۔ رواہ مسلم ۔
Ibn Abbas bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne namaz Zuhr Zul Halifa ke maqam par ada ki, phir aap ne apni untni mangwai, aap ne us ki kohan ke dayen pehlu par halka sa zakhm lagaya, wahan se khoon behne laga, aap ne woh khoon saaf kar diya aur us ki gardan mein do jute daal diye, phir aap apni sawari par sawar ho gaye, jab woh Baida mein aap ko lekar seedhi khadi ho gayi to aap ne Hajj ke liye talbiya pukara. ‘A’isha said that the Prophet once brought sheep (The word is ghanam which can mean either sheep or goats) for sacrifice to the House and garlanded them.

Ayesha bayan karti hain, Nabi ne ek martaba chand bakriyaan ba طور qurbani, Baitullah bhejwaeen to aap ne unhen qilaada (haar wagera) pehnaya. Mutafq alaih.
'A’isha said :I twisted the garlands of the Prophet’s sacrificial camels with my own hands, after which he garlanded them, marked them, and sent them as offerings, and nothing which had been lawful for him became forbidden. (When one is not performing the pilgrimage he is not subject to the restrictions applicable to pilgrims up to the day of sacrifice.)

عائشہ ؓ بیان کرتی ہیں ، میں نے نبی ﷺ کے قربانی کے اونٹوں کے قلادے خود اپنے ہاتھوں سے بٹے ، پھر آپ نے انہیں قلادے پہنائے ، ان کا شعار کیا اور انہیں قربانی کے لیے بھیجا ، اور جو چیز آپ کے لیے حلال کی گئی وہ آپ ﷺ پر حرام نہیں ہوئی تھی ۔ متفق علیہ ۔
Ayesha bayan karti hain, maine Nabi ke qurbani ke oonton ke qilade khud apne hathon se bate, phir aap ne unhen qilade pehnaye, un ka shiyar kiya aur unhen qurbani ke liye bheja, aur jo cheez aap ke liye halal ki gayi woh aap par haram nahi hui thi. Mutafaq alaih.
She said :I twisted their garlands from carded wool which I had, then he sent them with my father.

Ayesha bayan karti hain, maine inke qilade, oon se taiyar kiye jo ke mere pas mojood thi, phir aap inhen mere walid ke sath (Baitullah) rawana kiya. Mutaffiq alaih.
Abu Huraira said that God’s messenger saw a man driving a sacrificial camel and told him to ride on it, to which he replied that it was a sacrifical camel. He told him again to ride on it and received the same reply, so he said, “Ride on it, bother you,” (Literally, 'woe to you’) either the second or third time he spoke.

ابوہریرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کو قربانی کا اونٹ ہانکتے ہوئے دیکھا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اس پر سوار ہو جا ۔‘‘ اس نے عرض کیا : یہ تو قربانی کا اونٹ ہے ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اس پر سوار ہو جا ۔‘‘ اس نے عرض کیا : یہ تو قربانی کا اونٹ ہے ، آپ ﷺ نے دوسری یا تیسری مرتبہ فرمایا :’’ تجھ پر افسوس ہو ! اس پر سوارہو جا ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Abu Huraira RA se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah SAW ne aik aadmi ko qurbani ka unt hanktay huye dekha to aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Is per sawar ho ja.'' Us ne arz kiya: ''Yeh to qurbani ka unt hai.'' Aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Is per sawar ho ja.'' Us ne arz kiya: ''Yeh to qurbani ka unt hai.'' Aap SAW ne dusri ya teesri martaba farmaya: ''Tujh per afsos ho! Is per sawar ho ja.'' Muttafiq Alaih.
Abuz Zubair said he heard Jabir b. ‘Abdallah being asked about riding sacrificial animals, to which he replied that he had heard the Prophet say, “Ride on them gently when you have nothing else, till you find a mount.”
Muslim transmitted it.

ابوزبیر بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں نے جابر بن عبداللہ ؓ سے سنا ، ان سے قربانی کے اونٹ پر سواری کے بارے میں سوال کیا گیا تو انہوں نے کہا : میں نے نبی ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا :’’ جب تو اس پر سواری کرنے پر مجبور ہو جائے تو پھر سواری ملنے تک بھلے طریقے سے اس پر سواری کر ۔‘‘ رواہ مسلم ۔
Abuzubair bayan karte hain, main ne Jabir bin Abdullah se suna, un se qurbani ke unt per sawari ke bare mein sawal kiya gaya to unhon ne kaha : main ne Nabi ko farmate huye suna :’’ Jab tu us par sawari karne per majboor ho jaye to phir sawari milne tak bhaley tareeqay se us par sawari kar .‘‘ Rawah Muslim .
Ibn ‘Abbas said that God’s messenger sent sixteen sacrificial camels with a man whom he put in charge of them. He asked God’s messenger what he should do with those of them which became fatigued and he replied, “Slaughter them, then dye their shoes in their blood, and put them on the sides of their humps ; but neither you nor any who are with you must eat any part of them.”

ابن عباس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کے ساتھ قربانی کے سولہ اونٹ بھیجے اور اسے ان پر امیر مقرر کیا ، تو اس نے عرض کیا ، اللہ کے رسول ! اگر ان میں سے کوئی چلنے سے عاجز آ جائے تو پھر میں کیا کروں ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اسے نحر کر دینا اور اس (کےقلادے) کے جوتے اس کے خون میں رنگ کر اس کے پہلو پر نشان لگا دینا اور اس میں سے تم اور تمہارے ساتھی نہ کھائیں ۔‘‘ رواہ مسلم ۔
Ibn Abbas bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne ek aadmi ke sath qurbani ke solah unt bheje aur use in par ameer muqarrar kiya, to usne arz kiya, Allah ke Rasool! Agar in mein se koi chalne se aajiz aa jaye to phir mein kya karoon? Aap ne farmaya: ''Ise nahr kar dena aur is (ke qilade) ke joote is ke khoon mein rang kar is ke pehlu par nishan laga dena aur is mein se tum aur tumhare sathi na khayen.'' Riwayat Muslim.
Jabir said :In the year of al-Hudaibiya(6 A.H.) we, along with God's messenger, sacrificed a camel for seven people and a cow for seven people.

جابر ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، ہم نے حدیبیہ کے سال رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ اونٹ اور گائے کو سات سات آدمیوں کی طرف سے (بطور قربانی) نحر کیا ۔ رواہ مسلم ۔
Jibir bayan karte hain, hum ne Hudaibiya ke saal Rasool Allah ke sath unt aur gay ko saat saat aadmiyon ki taraf se (ba tor qurbani) nahar kiya. Riwayat Muslim.
Ibn ‘Umar came upon a man who had made his camel kneel and was sacrificing it, so he told him to make it stand up fettered according to thesunnaof Muhammad.

ابن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ وہ ایک آدمی کے پاس آئے جو اپنے قربانی کے اونٹ کو بٹھا کر نحرکر رہا تھا ، تو انہوں نے اسے فرمایا :’’ محمد ﷺ کی سنت کے مطابق اسے کھڑا کرو اور اس کی ٹانگ کو باندھو (پھر نحر کرو) ۔ متفق علیہ ۔
Ibne Umar RA se riwayat hai ki woh ek aadmi ke pass aaye jo apne qurbani ke unt ko bitha kar nahar kar raha tha, to unhon ne use farmaya: ''Muhammad SAW ki sunnat ke mutabiq ise khara karo aur is ki tang ko bandho (phir nahar karo).'' Mutaffiq alaih.
‘Ali said that God’s messenger put him in charge of his sacrificial I camels, telling him to give their flesh, skins and saddle-cloths as sadaqa,but not to give anything to the butcher, saying he would pay him himself.

علی ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے مجھے حکم فرمایا کہ میں آپ ﷺ کے قربانی کے اونٹوں کی نگرانی کروں اور ان کی لگاموں ، چمڑوں اور پالانوں کو صدقہ کر دوں اور قصاب کو اس میں سے کچھ نہ دوں ، فرمایا :’’ ہم اسے اپنے پاس سے دیں گے ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Ali bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne mujhe hukum farmaya ke main aap ke qurbani ke oonton ki nigrani karoon aur un ki lagamon, chamron aur palanon ko sadqa kar doon aur qasab ko is mein se kuch na doon, farmaya: "Hum ise apne pass se denge." Muttafiq alaih.
Jabir said they were not accustomed to eat the flesh of their sacrificial camels for more than three days, but God’s messenger gave them licence saying, “Eat and preserve the meat,” so they did so.

جابر ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، ہم اپنے قربانی کے اونٹوں کا گوشت تین دن سے زائد نہیں کھایا کرتے تھے ، پھر رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ہمیں رخصت دی تو فرمایا :’’ کھاؤ اور زادِراہ کے طور پر ساتھ بھی لے جاؤ ۔‘‘ پس ہم نے کھایا اور زادِراہ کے طورپر ساتھ بھی لائے ۔ متفق علیہ ۔
Jaabeer bayan karte hain hum apne qurbani ke oonton ka gosht teen din se ziyada nahin khaya karte the phir Rasool Allah ne humein rukhsat di to farmaya khao aur zad e raah ke tor par saath bhi le jao pas hum ne khaya aur zad e raah ke tor par saath bhi laye mutafiq alaih
Ibn ‘Abbas said that in the year of al-Hudaibiya the Prophet included among his sacrificial animals a camel with a silver (a version has gold) nose-ring which had belonged to Abu Jahl,( A chief of Quraish who had been hostile to the Prophet. He was killed at Badr) thereby enraging the polytheists.

ابن عباس ؓ روایت کرتے ہیں کہ نبی ﷺ نے حدیبیہ کے سال قربانی کے جانور بھیجے ، رسول اللہ ﷺ کے قربانی کے جانوروں میں ابوجہل کا اونٹ بھی تھا جس کی ناک میں چاندی کا اورایک دوسری روایت میں ہے کہ سونے کا ایک کڑا تھا ، آپ ﷺ اس سے مشرکین کو غصہ دلانا چاہتے تھے ۔ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Ibn Abbas (RA) riwayat karte hain ki Nabi (SAW) ne Hudaibiya ke saal qurbani ke janwar bheje, Rasool Allah (SAW) ke qurbani ke janwaron mein Abu Jahl ka unt bhi tha jis ki naak mein chandi ka o aik dusri riwayat mein hai ki sone ka aik kara tha, Aap (SAW) iss se mushrikon ko ghussa dilana chahte the. Isnadahu Hasan, Rawahu Abu Dawood.
Najiyah Khaza'i (RA) narrated that she asked: "O Messenger of Allah! What should I do if one of the camels for sacrifice becomes too weak to walk?" He (ﷺ) replied: "Slaughter it, then dip its tether in its blood (and mark its side), then leave it for the people so they may eat from it." (Sahih, narrated by Malik, Tirmidhi, and Ibn Majah)

ناجیہ خزاعی ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں نے عرض کیا : اللہ کے رسول ! قربانی کے اونٹوں میں سے کوئی چلنے سے عاجز آ جائے تو کیا کروں ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اسے نحر کر دینا پھر اس (کے قلادے) کے جوتے اس کے خون میں ڈبو دینا (اور اس کے پہلو پر نشان لگا دینا) پھر اسے لوگوں کے لیے چھوڑدینا تاکہ وہ اسے کھا لیں ۔‘‘ اسنادہ صحیح ، رواہ مالک و الترمذی و ابن ماجہ ۔
Najiya Khuzai bayan karti hain, maine arz kiya: Allah ke Rasool! Qurbani ke oonton mein se koi chalne se aajiz aa jaye to kya karoon? Aap ne farmaya: "Ise nahar kar dena phir is (ke qilade) ke joote is ke khoon mein dubo dena (aur is ke pehlu par nishan laga dena) phir ise logon ke liye chhor dena taake woh ise kha len." Isnaadahu Sahih, Riwayat Malik o Tirmizi o Ibne Maja.
'Abdallah b. Qurt reported the Prophet as saying that the greatest day in God’s sight is the day of sacrifice and next the day of resting,( Yaum al-qarr, the 11th ol Dhul Hijja) which Thaur(He is one of those who occur in theisnad) said was the second day. Five or six sacrificial camels were brought to God’s messenger and they (i.e. the camels. The suggestion is that each coveted the blessing of being sacrificed first. 'This is said to be one of the Prophet's miracles. Cf. Mirqat, iii, 237) began to draw near to see which he would sacrifice first. When they fell down [dead] he said something in a low voice which ‘Abdallah did not catch, so he asked what he had said and was told he had said that anyone who wished could cut off a piece.

عبداللہ بن قرط ؓ نبی ﷺ سے روایت کرتے ہیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اللہ کے نزدیک سب سے عظیم دن قربانی کا دن ہے ، پھر (منیٰ میں) قرار پکڑنے (گیارہ ذوالحجہ) کا دن ہے ۔‘‘ ثور ؒ نے فرمایا : اس سے قربانی کا دوسرا دن مراد ہے ۔ راوی بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس پانچ یا چھ قربانی کے اونٹ پیش کیے گئے ، وہ آپ ﷺ کے قریب ہونے لگے کہ آپ کس سے ابتدا فرمائیں گے ۔ راوی بیان کرتے ہیں : جب وہ پہلوں کے بل گر پڑیں تو آپ نے کوئی ہلکی سی بات کی جسے میں سمجھ نہ سکا ، تو میں نے (اپنے پاس والے شخص سے) کہا : آپ نے کیا فرمایا ہے ؟ اس نے کہا : آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے :’’ جو شخص چاہے اس سے گوشت کاٹ کر لے جائے ۔‘‘ ابوداؤد ۔ عبداللہ بن عباس ؓ اور جابر ؓ سے مروی حدیث باب الاضحیۃ میں ذکر کی گئی ہے ۔ اسنادہ صحیح ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Abdullah bin Qurt RA Nabi SAW se riwayat karte hain, Aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Allah ke nazdeek sab se azeem din qurbani ka din hai, phir (Mina mein) karar pakadne (gyarah Zulhijjah) ka din hai.'' Thawr RA ne farmaya: Iss se qurbani ka doosra din murad hai. Rawi bayan karte hain, Rasul Allah SAW ke paas panch ya chhe qurbani ke oont pesh kiye gaye, woh Aap SAW ke qareeb hone lage keh Aap kis se ibtida farmaenge. Rawi bayan karte hain: Jab woh pehlon ke bal gir parin to Aap ne koi halki si baat ki jise main samajh na saka, to main ne (apne paas wale shakhs se) kaha: Aap ne kya farmaya hai? Uss ne kaha: Aap SAW ne farmaya hai: ''Jo shakhs chahe uss se gosht kaat kar le jaye.'' Abu Dawood. Abdullah bin Abbas RA aur Jabir RA se marvi hadees Bab al-Adha mein zikr ki gayi hai. Salama b. al-Akwa‘ reported the Prophet as saying, “Those of you who make a sacrifice must not have any of it in their house after three days." The following year the people asked him whether they should do as they had done the previous year, and he said, “Eat, provide food for others, and store some up, for that year there was distress among the people and I wanted you to help them."

سلمہ بن اکوع ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ تم میں سے جس نے قربانی کی ہے ۔ تیسرے دن کے بعد (یعنی چوتھے روز) اس کے گھر میں قربانی کا گوشت نہیں ہونا چاہیے ۔‘‘ جب آئندہ سال آیا تو صحابہ نے عرض کیا : اللہ کے رسول ! جس طرح ہم نے پچھلے سال کیا تھا کیا اس سال بھی ہم ویسے ہی کریں ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ کھاؤ ، کھلاؤ اور ذخیرہ بھی کرو ، کیونکہ گزشتہ سال لوگ قحط سالی کی وجہ سے تکلیف میں تھے ، اس لیے میں نے ارادہ کیا کہ تم ان کی اعانت کرو ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Salma bin Akwa RA bayan karte hain, Nabi SAW ne farmaya: “Tum mein se jis ne qurbani ki hai - teesre din ke baad (yani chauthe roz) uske ghar mein qurbani ka gosht nahin hona chahiye.” Jab aenda saal aaya to Sahaba ne arz kiya: Allah ke Rasool! Jis tarah hum ne pichhle saal kiya tha kya is saal bhi hum waise hi karen? Aap SAW ne farmaya: “Khao, khilao aur zakhira bhi karo, kyunki guzishta saal log qahtsali ki wajah se takleef mein the, isliye maine irada kiya ke tum un ki ianat karo.” Mutaffiq Alaih.
Nubaisha reported God’s messenger as saying, “I forbade you to eat their meat for more than three days in order that you might have abundance [for charity] ; but God has produced abundance, so you may eat, store up and seek reward. These days are days of eating, drinking and remembrance of God."
Abu Dawud transmitted it.

نُبیشہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ہم نے تمہیں منع کیا تھا کہ قربانی کا گوشت تین دن سے زائد نہیں کھانا تاکہ تمہیں کشائش اور خوشحالی مل جائے ، اب اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہیں خوشحالی عطا کر دی ہے تو کھاؤ ، ذخیرہ کرو اور (صدقہ کر کے) اجر پاؤ ۔ اور سن لو ! یہ ایام کھانے پینے اور اللہ تعالیٰ کا ذکر کرنے کے ہیں ۔‘‘ صحیح ، رواہ ابوداؤ ۔
Nubaisha RA bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah SAW ne farmaya: Hum ne tumhein mana kiya tha ke qurbani ka gosht teen din se ziada nahi khana taake tumhein kushaish aur khushhali mil jaye, ab Allah Ta'ala ne tumhein khushhali ata kar di hai to khao, zakhira karo aur (sadqa kar ke) ajr pao. Aur sun lo! Ye ayam khane peene aur Allah Ta'ala ka zikr karne ke hain." Sahih, Riwayat Abu Dawood.
