Abu Dharr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that some of the people from among the Companions of the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said to him, Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), the rich have taken away (all the) reward. They observe prayer as we do; they keep the fasts as we keep, and they give Sadaqa out of their surplus riches. Upon this he (the Holy Prophet) said: Has Allah not prescribed for you (a course) by following which you can (also) do sadaqa? In every declaration of the glorification of Allah (saying Subhan Allah) there is a Sadaqa, and every Takbir (saying Allah-O-Akbar) is a sadaqa, and every praise of His (saying al-Hamdu Lillah) is a Sadaqa and every declaration that He is One (La illha ill-Allah) is a sadaqa, and enjoining of good is a sadaqa, and forbidding of that which is evil is a Sadaqa, and in man's sexual Intercourse (with his wife, ) there is a Sadaqa. They (the Companions) said, Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), is there reward for him who satisfies his sexual passion among us? He said: tell me, if he were to devote it to something forbidden, would it not be a sin on his part? Similarly, if he were to devote it to something lawful, he should have a reward.
حضرت ابو ذر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے کچھ ساتھیوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے عرض کیا: اے اللہ کے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! سرمایہ دار اجرو ثواب لے گئے وہ ہماری طرح نماز پڑھتے ہیں ہماری طرح روزے رکھتے ہیں اور ضرورت سے زائد مالوں کو خرچ کرتے ہیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”کیا اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمھارے لیے صدقہ کرنے کی صورت نہیں پیدا کی؟ ایک دفعہ سُبحَانَ اللہ کہنا صدقہ ہے اور ایک دفعہ اللہ اکبر کہنا صدقہ ہے ایک دفعہ الحمد اللہ کہنا صدقہ ہے اور ایک دفعہ لا الہ الا اللہ کہنا صدقہ ہے نیکی کی تلقین کرنا صدقہ ہے اور برائی سے روکنا صدقہ ہے اور بیوی سے تعلقات قائم کرنا بھی صدقہ ہے۔ صحابہ کرام رضوان اللہ عنھم اجمعین نے پوچھا کیا جب ہم میں سے کوئی اپنی نفسیاتی خواہش (جنسی ضرورت) پوری کرتا ہے اس میں بھی اسے اجر ملتا ہے؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جواب دیا ”بتاؤ اگر وہ اسے حرام جگہ استعمال کرتا ہے تو کیا اسے اس پر گناہ ہوتا ہے یا نہیں؟ اسی طرح جب وہ اسے جائز محل پر رکھتا ہے تو اسے اجر بھی ملتا ہے۔“
Hazrat Abu Zar (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke kuch sathiyon ne Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se arz kiya: Ae Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Sarmaya dar ajr-o-sawab le gaye woh hamari tarah namaz parhtay hain hamari tarah rozay rakhtay hain aur zaroorat se zaid malon ko kharch karte hain. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Kya Allah Ta'ala ne tumhare liye sadqa karne ki soorat nahi paida ki? Ek dafa SubhanAllah kehna sadqa hai aur ek dafa Allahu Akbar kehna sadqa hai ek dafa Al-Hamdulillah kehna sadqa hai aur ek dafa La Ilaha Illallah kehna sadqa hai naiki ki talqeen karna sadqa hai aur burayi se rokna sadqa hai aur biwi se taluqat qaim karna bhi sadqa hai. Sahaba Ikram (Ridwanullahi Alaihim Ajmaeen) ne poocha kya jab hum mein se koi apni nafsiati khwahish (jinsi zaroorat) poori karta hai us mein bhi usay ajr milta hai? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne jawab diya "Batao agar woh isay haram jagah istemal karta hai toh kya usay is par gunah hota hai ya nahi? Isi tarah jab woh isay jaiz mahal par rakhta hai toh usay ajr bhi milta."
