Sahih Muslim 1059e
Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that when Makka was conquered, he (the Prophet ﷺ) distributed the spoils among the Quraish. Upon this the Ansar said, it is strange that our swords are dripping with their blood, whereas our spoils have been given to them (to the Quraish). This (remark) reached the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), and so he gathered them and said, ‘what is this that has been conveyed to me about you? They said, (yes) it is that very thing that, has reached you and they were not (the people) to speak a lie. Upon this he said, do not you like that the people should return to their houses along with worldly riches, whereas you should return to your houses with the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)? If the people were to tread a valley or a narrow path, and the Ansar were also to tread a valley or a narrow path, I would tread the valley (along with the) Ansar or the narrow path (along with the) Ansar.
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ جب مکہ فتح ہو گیا اور (حنین کی) غنیمتیں قریش میں تقسیم کی گئی تو انصار نے کہا یہ کس قدر تعجب خیز بات ہے کہ ہماری تلواروں سے ان کے خون ٹپک رہے ہیں (اور ہماری غنیمتیں) ان کو دی جا رہی ہیں یہ بات رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تک پہنچی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کو جمع کیا۔ اور فرمایا: ”وہ کیا بات ہے جو تمھاری طرف سے مجھ تک پہنچی ہے؟“ انھوں نے کہا۔ بات وہی ہے جو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تک پہنچ چکی ہے۔ کیونکہ وہ لوگ جھوٹ نہیں بولتے تھے، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”کیا تم خوش نہیں ہو کہ لوگ اپنے گھروں کو دنیا لے کر لوٹیں اور تم اپنے گھروں کو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو لے کر لوٹو۔ اگر لوگ وادی یا درہ میں چلیں اور انصار دوسری وادی یا درہ میں چلیں تو میں انصار کی وادی یا انصار کے درہ میں چلوں گا۔“
Hazrat Anas bin Malik (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) bayan karte hain ke jab Makka fatah ho gaya aur (Hunain ki) ghanimatein Quraish mein taqseem ki gayi toh Ansar ne kaha yeh kis qadar tajjub khez baat hai ke hamari talwaron se un ke khoon tapak rahay hain (aur hamari ghanimatein) un ko di ja rahi hain yeh baat Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) tak pohanchi toh Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne un ko jama kiya. Aur farmaya: "Woh kya baat hai jo tumhari taraf se mujh tak pohanchi hai?" Unhon ne kaha: baat wohi hai jo Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) tak pohanch chuki hai. Kyunke woh log jhoot nahi boltay thay, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Kya tum khush nahi ho ke log apne gharon ko duniya le kar lautein aur tum apne gharon ko Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko le kar lauto. Agar log waadi ya darrah mein chalein aur Ansar doosri waadi ya darrah mein chalein toh main Ansar ki waadi ya Ansar ke darrah mein chaloon ga."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ لَمَّا فُتِحَتْ مَكَّةُ قَسَمَ الْغَنَائِمَ فِي قُرَيْشٍ فَقَالَتِ الأَنْصَارُ إِنَّ هَذَا لَهُوَ الْعَجَبُ إِنَّ سُيُوفَنَا تَقْطُرُ مِنْ دِمَائِهِمْ وَإِنَّ غَنَائِمَنَا تُرَدُّ عَلَيْهِمْ . فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَجَمَعَهُمْ فَقَالَ " مَا الَّذِي بَلَغَنِي عَنْكُمْ " . قَالُوا هُوَ الَّذِي بَلَغَكَ . وَكَانُوا لاَ يَكْذِبُونَ . قَالَ " أَمَا تَرْضَوْنَ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ النَّاسُ بِالدُّنْيَا إِلَى بُيُوتِهِمْ وَتَرْجِعُونَ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ إِلَى بُيُوتِكُمْ لَوْ سَلَكَ النَّاسُ وَادِيًا أَوْ شِعْبًا وَسَلَكَتِ الأَنْصَارُ وَادِيًا أَوْ شِعْبًا لَسَلَكْتُ وَادِيَ الأَنْصَارِ أَوْ شِعْبَ الأَنْصَارِ " .
