Chapter: It is permissible for a man to have intercourse with his wife from the front or from the back, without entering the behind

باب جَوَازِ جِمَاعِهِ امْرَأَتَهُ فِي قُبُلِهَا مِنْ قُدَّامِهَا وَمِنْ وَرَائِهَا مِنْ غَيْرِ تَعَرُّضٍ لِلدُّبُرِ
Sahih Muslim 1435b
Jabir (b. Abdullah) (Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Jews used to say that when one comes to one's wife through the vagina, but being on her back, and she becomes pregnant, the child has a squint. So the verse came down:" Your wives are your ti'Ith; go then unto your tilth, as you may desire."
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ یہودی کہتے تھے کہ جب عورت کی اندام نہانی میں پچھلی جہت (دبر) سے مباشرت کی جائے اور حمل ٹھہر جائے تو بچہ بھینگا پیدا ہو گا۔ اس پر یہ آیت اتری: (تمہاری بیویاں تمہاری کھیتی ہیں، تم اپنی کھیتی میں جیسے چاہو آؤ۔)
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (Radi Allahu Anhuma) se riwayat hai ki Yahoodi kehte the ki jab aurat ki andaam nihani mein pichhli jihat (dubur) se mubashirat ki jaye aur hamal thehar jaye to bachcha bhinga paida hoga. Is par yeh aayat utri: (Tumhari biwiyan tumhari kheti hain, tum apni kheti mein jaise chaaho aao.)
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ، بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ يَهُودَ، كَانَتْ تَقُولُ إِذَا أُتِيَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنْ دُبُرِهَا فِي قُبُلِهَا ثُمَّ حَمَلَتْ كَانَ وَلَدُهَا أَحْوَلَ . قَالَ فَأُنْزِلَتْ { نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ}
