Sahih Muslim 1733g
Abu Burda reported on the authority of his father, Allah's Apostle (صلى ِهللا عليه و آله وسلم) sent me and Mu'adh (رضي الله تعالى عنه) to Yemen saying, call people (to the path of righteousness) and give good tidings to the (people), and do not repel them, make things easy for them and do not make things difficult. I (Burda) said, Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), give us a religious verdict about two kinds of drinks which we prepare in Yemen. One is Bit' which is prepared from honey; it is a fermented Nabidh and is strong and turns into wine, and (the second is) Mizr which is prepared from millet and barley. Thereupon, Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), who had been gifted with the most eloquent and concise expressions, said, I forbid you from every intoxicant that keeps you away from prayer.
حضرت ابوبردہ اپنے باپ (حضرت ابوموسیٰ) سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے اور معاذ کو یمن بھیجا تو فرمایا: ”لوگوں کو دین کی دعوت دو اور بشارت سناؤ اور نفرت نہ دلاؤ اور آسانی پیدا کرو، تنگی پیدا نہ کرو۔“ تو میں نے کہا، اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! ہمیں ان دو مشروبوں کے بارے میں بتائیں، جو ہم یمن میں تیار کرتے تھے، بتع وہ شہد کا نبیذ ہے جو گاڑھا کر لیا جاتا ہے اور مِزُر ہے، جو مکئی اور جَو کا نبیذ ہے، حتیٰ کہ وہ گاڑھا ہو جاتا ہے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو جامع مانع کلام سے نوازا گیا تھا، اس لیے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میں ہر نشہ آور چیز سے روکتا ہوں، جو نماز سے مدہوش کر دے۔“
Hazrat Abu Burda apne baap (Hazrat Abu Musa) se bayan karte hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne mujhe aur Ma'adh ko Yemen bheja toh farmaya: “Logon ko deen ki dawat do aur bisharat sunao aur nafrat na dilao aur aasani paida karo, tangi paida na karo.” toh mein ne kaha, ae Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! humein in do mashrubon ke bare mein batayein, jo hum Yemen mein tayyar karte thay, Bit'a woh shahad ka nabidh hai jo gaarha kar liya jata hai aur Mizr hai, jo makai aur jo ka nabidh hai, hatta ke woh gaarha ho jata hai, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko jami' mani' kalam se nawaza gaya tha, is liye aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: “Mein har nasha awar cheez se rokta hoon, jo namaz se madhosh kar de.”
وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَلَفٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لاِبْنِ أَبِي خَلَفٍ - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَمْرٍو - عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ، أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَمُعَاذًا إِلَى الْيَمَنِ فَقَالَ " ادْعُوَا النَّاسَ وَبَشِّرَا وَلاَ تُنَفِّرَا وَيَسِّرَا وَلاَ تُعَسِّرَا " . قَالَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفْتِنَا فِي شَرَابَيْنِ كُنَّا نَصْنَعُهُمَا بِالْيَمَنِ الْبِتْعُ وَهُوَ مِنَ الْعَسَلِ يُنْبَذُ حَتَّى يَشْتَدَّ وَالْمِزْرُ وَهُوَ مِنَ الذُّرَةِ وَالشَّعِيرِ يُنْبَذُ حَتَّى يَشْتَدَّ قَالَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَدْ أُعْطِيَ جَوَامِعَ الْكَلِمِ بِخَوَاتِمِهِ فَقَالَ " أَنْهَى عَنْ كُلِّ مُسْكِرٍ أَسْكَرَ عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ " .
