Chapter: It is permissible to take someone else to the house of one who you are certain will approve of that and will not mind. It is recommended to gather to eat

باب جَوَازِ اسْتِتْبَاعِهِ غَيْرَهُ إِلَى دَارِ مَنْ يَثِقُ بِرِضَاهُ بِذَلِكَ وَيَتَحَقَّقُهُ تَحَقُّقًا تَامًّا وَاسْتِحْبَابِ الاِجْتِمَاعِ عَلَى الطَّعَامِ
Sahih Muslim 2038b
Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported, one day while Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) was sitting and there was with him Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) also there came to them Allah's Apostle (صلى ِهللا عليه و ِآله وسلم) and he said, what makes you stay here? They said, it is hunger that has brought us out from our houses. By Him Who has sent you with Truth; the rest of the Hadith is the same.
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، اس دوران کہ ابوبکر عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما کے ساتھ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے کہ ان کے پاس رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تشریف لے آئے اور فرمایا: ”تمہیں کس چیز نے یہاں بٹھایا ہے؟“ دونوں نے کہا: ہمیں ہمارے گھروں سے بھوک نے نکالا ہے، اس ذات کی قسم جس نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو حق دے کر بھیجا ہے! پھر مذکورہ بالا روایت کے ہم معنی روایت بیان کی۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) bayan karte hain, us dauran ke Abu Bakar Umar (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhuma) ke saath baithe hue the ke un ke paas Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) tashreef le aaye aur farmaya: "Tumhein kis cheez ne yahan baithaya hai?" Dono ne kaha: Hamien hamare gharon se bhook ne nikala hai, us zaat ki qasam jis ne Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ko haq de kar bheja hai! Phir mazkora bala riwayat ke hum maani riwayat bayan ki.
وَحَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو هِشَامٍ، - يَعْنِي الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ سَلَمَةَ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ بَيْنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَاعِدٌ وَعُمَرُ مَعَهُ إِذْ أَتَاهُمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " مَا أَقْعَدَكُمَا هَا هُنَا " . قَالاَ أَخْرَجَنَا الْجُوعُ مِنْ بُيُوتِنَا وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ . ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ خَلَفِ بْنِ خَلِيفَةَ .
