بَاب عَرْضِ مَقْعَدِ الْمَيِّتِ مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ أَوْ النَّارِ عَلَيْهِ وَإِثْبَاتِ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَالتَّعَوُّذِ مِنْهُ

Sahih Muslim 2866a
Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported Allah's Apostle (a) as saying, when any one of you dies, he is shown his seat (in the Hereafter) morning and evening; if he is amongst the inmates of Paradise (he is shown the seat) from amongst the inmates of Paradise and if he is one from amongst the denizens of Hell (he is shown the seat) from amongst the denizens of Hell, and it would be said to him, ‘that is your seat until Allah raises you on the Day of Resurrection (and sends you to your proper seat).
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:"تم میں سے کوئی جب مرجاتا ہے تو ہر صبح و شام اس کے سامنے اس کا ٹھکانا پیش کیا جاتا ہے۔ اگر وہ جنتیوں میں سے ہے تو جنتیوں کے مقام سے اور اگر دوزخیوں میں سے ہے تو دوزخیوں کے مقام سے اور کہا جاتا ہے یہ تیرا ہونے والا ٹھکانا ہے حتی کہ قیامت کے دن اللہ تجھے اس کی طرف اٹھائے گا۔"
Hadhrat Ibn Umar (Razi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Tum mein se koi jab mar jata hai to har subah o sham us ke samne us ka thikana pesh kiya jata hai. Agar woh Jannatiyon mein se hai to Jannatiyon ke maqam se aur agar Dozakhiyon mein se hai to Dozakhiyon ke maqam se aur kaha jata hai yeh tera hone wala thikana hai hatta ke Qayamat ke din Allah tujhe is ki taraf uthayega."
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا مَاتَ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ مَقْعَدُهُ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَمِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ يُقَالُ هَذَا مَقْعَدُكَ حَتَّى يَبْعَثَكَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
