Chapter: The travelers’ prayer and shortening it

باب صَلاَةِ الْمُسَافِرِينَ وَقَصْرِهَا
Sahih Muslim 692b
This Hadith has been transmitted by Shu'ba with the same chain of narrators and it is narrated from Simt, and the name of Shurahbil has not been mentioned and he said that he had gone to a place called Dumin, situated at a distance of eighteen miles from Hims.
دوسری سند میں ہے کہ ابن سمط حمص کی دومین نامی ججگہ پر پہنچے، جو اٹھارہ میل کے فاصہ پر تھی (اور وہاں نماز قصر پڑھی)۔
Doosri sanad mein hai ke Ibn Simt Hums ki Domain nami jagah par pohnche, jo atthrah meel ke fasle par thi (aur wahan namaz qasr parhi).
وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ . وَقَالَ عَنِ ابْنِ السِّمْطِ، وَلَمْ يُسَمِّ شُرَحْبِيلَ وَقَالَ إِنَّهُ أَتَى أَرْضًا يُقَالُ لَهَا دَوْمِينُ مِنْ حِمْصَ عَلَى رَأْسِ ثَمَانِيَةَ عَشَرَ مِيلاً .
