Mustadrak Al Hakim 3856
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said regarding the verse "And made the moon therein a light" (Quran 10:5): "Its face is towards the Throne and its back is towards the earth." ** This hadith is Sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, but the two Sheikhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not narrate it.
" حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما ( اللہ تعالیٰ کے ارشاد ) ’’وَّ جَعَلَ الْقَمَرَ فِیْھِنَّ نُوْرًا‘‘ کے متعلق فرماتے ہیں : اس کا چہرہ عرش کی طرف اور اس کی پشت زمین کی طرف ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه)uma ( Allah ta'ala ke irshad ) "wa ja'alal qamara feehinna nooran" ke mutalliq farmate hain : is ka chehra Arsh ki taraf aur is ki pusht zameen ki taraf. ** yeh hadees Imam Bukhari rehmatullah alaih aur Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheykhayn rehmatullah alaihima ne ise naqal nahin kiya.
أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، {وَجَعَلَ الْقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورًا} [نوح: 16] قَالَ: «وَجْهُهُ إِلَى الْعَرْشِ وَقَفَاهُ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 3856 - على شرط مسلم
