Mustadrak Al Hakim 4003
It is narrated on the authority of Samurah bin Jundab (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The children of Hawwa (Eve) (may Allah be pleased with her) would not survive. She vowed that if her child survived, she would name him Abd al-Harith. So, when her child survived, she named him Abd al-Harith. This was nothing but a temptation from Satan. ** This hadith is authentic in its chain of narration, but Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not narrate it.
" حضرت سمرہ بن جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا : حضرت حواء رضی اللہ عنہا کے بچے زندہ نہیں رہتے تھے ۔ انہوں نے منت مانی کہ اگر ان کا بچہ زندہ رہا تو اس کا نام عبدالحارث رکھیں گی تو ان کا بچہ زندہ رہا تو انہوں نے اس کا نام عبدالحارث رکھ دیا ۔ یہ محض شیطان کی طرف سے وسوسہ تھا ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"

Yeh mehza shetan ki taraf se waswasa tha. ** Yeh hadees sahih al isnad hai lekin Imam Bukhari rehmatullah alaih aur Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ne ise naqal nahi kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْآدَمِيُّ الْمُقْرِئُ بِبَغْدَادَ، ثنا أَبُو قِلَابَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «كَانَتْ حَوَّاءُ لَا يَعِيشُ لَهَا وَلَدٌ فَنَذَرَتْ لَئِنْ عَاشَ لَهَا وَلَدٌ تُسَمِّيهِ عَبْدَ الْحَارِثِ فَعَاشَ لَهَا وَلَدٌ فَسَمَّتْهُ عَبْدَ الْحَارِثِ، وَإِنَّمَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ عَنْ وَحْيٍ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4003 - صحيح
