Mustadrak Al Hakim 5182
Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was weeping. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) inquired about the reason for his weeping. He said: There is a Hadith that I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), (which is): Even the slightest bit of showing off (in worship) is Shirk (associating partners with Allah), and the most beloved people to Allah are those who are pious and righteous, and their acts of worship are hidden from the eyes of the people. If they are absent from a gathering, no one feels their absence, and if they are present in a gathering, no one recognizes them. These are the leaders of guidance and the lamps of knowledge. ** This Hadith has a sound chain of narrators, but the two Shaykhs (Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim - may Allah have mercy on them) did not narrate it.
" حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں : حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ ، حضرت معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس سے گزرے تو حضرت معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ رو رہے تھے ، حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے رونے کی وجہ دریافت کی ۔ تو انہوں نے کہا : ایک حدیث ہے جو میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سن رکھی ہے ( وہ یہ ہے ) چھوٹے سے چھوٹا ریاء بھی شرک ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ کو سب سے زیادہ پسند وہ لوگ ہیں جو متقی اور پرہیزگار ہیں اور ان کی عبادات لوگوں کی نگاہوں سے پوشیدہ ہوں ، وہ کسی محفل سے غائب ہوں تو کوئی ان کی کمی محسوس نہیں کرتا ، اور کسی محفل میں موجود ہوں تو کوئی پہچانتا نہیں ہے ، یہی لوگ ہدایت کے امام ہیں اور علم کے شمعیں ہیں ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"

To unhon ne kaha : Ek hadees hai jo main ne Rasulullah ﷺ se sun rakhi hai ( woh ye hai ) chhote se chhota riya bhi shirk hai aur Allah Ta'ala ko sab se zyada pasand woh log hain jo muttaqi aur parhezgar hain aur un ki ibadat logon ki nigaahon se poshida hon, woh kisi mehfil se ghaib hon to koi un ki kami mehsoos nahin karta, aur kisi mehfil mein mojood hon to koi pehchanta nahin hai, yahi log hidayat ke imam hain aur ilm ke shamein hain . ** Ye hadees sahih al-isnad hai lekin Sheikhain Rehmatullah Alaihima ne is ko naqal nahin kiya .
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا شَاذُّ بْنُ الْفَيَّاضِ، ثنا أَبُو قَحْذَمٍ النَّضْرُ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: مَرَّ عُمَرُ بِمُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا وَهُوَ يَبْكِي، فَقَالَ: مَا يُبْكِيكَ؟ فَقَالَ: حَدِيثٌ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ أَدْنَى الرِّيَاءِ شِرْكٌ، وَأَحَبَّ الْعَبِيدِ إِلَى اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى الْأَتْقِيَاءُ الْأَخْفِيَاءُ، الَّذِينَ إِذَا غَابُوا لَمْ يُفْتَقَدُوا، وَإِذَا شَهِدُوا لَمْ يُعْرَفُوا، أُولَئِكَ أَئِمَّةُ الْهُدَى وَمَصَابِيحُ الْعِلْمِ» صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 5182 - أبو قحذم قال أبو حاتم لا يكتب حديثه وقال النسائي ليس بثقة
