Mustadrak Al Hakim 6302
Abdullah bin Ubaid bin Umair narrated: Once, Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) was with Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and was holding his hand. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I think the Quran has spread among the people." I said, "O Leader of the Believers! I do not consider this a good thing." He withdrew his hand from mine and said, "Why would you say such a thing?" I said, "Because when they recite the Quran, they read it repeatedly, and when they read it repeatedly, they start disagreeing, and when they disagree, they start fighting with each other." Upon hearing this, he sat down and left me. Only Allah knows the pain I felt that day. Then his messenger came to me and said, "The Leader of the Believers is calling you." I went to him, and Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked, "What were you saying?" I repeated what I had said. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I have always concealed this matter."
عبداللہ بن عبید بن عمیر فرماتے ہیں : ایک مرتبہ حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما ، حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس تھے ، حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما ، حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کا ہاتھ تھامے ہوئے تھے ۔ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا : میرا خیال ہے کہ قرآن کریم لوگوں میں پھیل چکا ہے ، میں نے کہا : اے امیرالمومنین ! میں اس کو اچھا نہیں سمجھتا ۔ انہوں نے اپنا ہاتھ میرے ہاتھ سے چھڑا لیا اور فرمایا : تم نے ایسی بات کیوں کہی ؟ میں نے کہا : اس لئے کہ جب وہ قرآن کی تلاوت کرتے ہیں ، تو بار بار پڑھتے ہیں ، اور جب بار بار پڑھتے ہیں تو ان کا اختلاف ہو جاتا ہے ، اور جب ان کا اختلاف ہوتا ہے تو وہ ایک دوسرے سے لڑنے لگ جاتے ہیں ۔ یہ سن کر وہ بیٹھ گئے اور مجھے چھوڑ دیا ، اس دن مجھے جو تکلیف ہوئی اس کو اللہ کے سوا کوئی نہیں جانتا ۔ پھر ان کا ایک قاصد میرے پاس آیا اور پیغام دیا کہ امیرالمومنین تمہیں بلا رہے ہیں ، میں ان کے پاس آیا ، حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا : تم نے کیا کہا تھا ؟ میں نے وہ بات دوبارہ دہرائی ۔ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا : میں اس بات کو ہمیشہ چھپاتا رہا ہوں ۔
Abdullah bin Ubaid bin Umair farmate hain : Aik martaba Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas Radi Allaho Anhuma , Hazrat Umar Radi Allaho Anhu ke paas thay , Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas Radi Allaho Anhuma , Hazrat Umar Radi Allaho Anhu ka hath thame huay thay . Hazrat Umar Radi Allaho Anhu ne farmaya : Mera khayal hai ki Quran Kareem logon mein phail chuka hai , maine kaha : Aye Ameerul Momineen ! mein is ko achha nahin samajhta . Unhon ne apna hath mere hath se chhuda liya aur farmaya : Tum ne aisi baat kyon kahi ? maine kaha : Is liye ki jab woh Quran ki tilawat karte hain , to baar baar padhte hain , aur jab baar baar padhte hain to un ka ikhtilaf ho jata hai , aur jab un ka ikhtilaf hota hai to woh aik doosre se ladne lag jate hain . Yeh sun kar woh baith gaye aur mujhe chhod diya , is din mujhe jo takleef hui is ko Allah ke siwa koi nahin janta . Phir un ka aik qasid mere paas aaya aur paigham diya ki Ameerul Momineen tumhen bula rahe hain , mein un ke paas aaya , Hazrat Umar Radi Allaho Anhu ne farmaya : Tum ne kya kaha tha ? maine woh baat dobara dohrai . Hazrat Umar Radi Allaho Anhu ne farmaya : Mein is baat ko hamesha chhipata raha hoon .
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ الشَّامِيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو قَبِيصَةَ سُكَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْمُجَاشِعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ: "" بَيْنَمَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ مَعَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَهُوَ آخِذٌ بِيَدِهِ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: «أَرَى الْقُرْآنَ قَدْ ظَهَرَ فِي النَّاسِ» ، فَقُلْتُ: مَا أُحِبُّ ذَاكَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، قَالَ: فَاجْتَذَبَ يَدَهُ مِنْ يَدَي، وَقَالَ: "" لِمَ قُلْتَ؟ لِأَنَّهُمْ مَتَى يَقْرَءُوا يَتَقَرُّوا، وَمَتَى مَا يَتَقَرُّوا اخْتَلَفُوا، وَمَتَى مَا يَخْتَلِفُوا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُهُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ، فَقَالَ: فَجَلَسَ عَنِّي وَتَرَكَنِي ""، فَظَلَلْتُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ لَا يَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، ثُمَّ أَتَانِي رَسُولُهُ الظُّهْرَ فَقَالَ: أَجِبْ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَأَتَيْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: كَيْفَ قُلْتَ؟ فَأَعَدْتُ مَقَالَتِي، قَالَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: «إِنْ كُنْتُ لَأَكْتُمُهَا النَّاسَ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 6302 - سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
