Sunan an-Nasa'i 1351
Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that a man saw in a dream that it was said to him, ‘what does your Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) command you to do?’ He said, ‘he commanded us to say Tasbih thirty-three times following the prayer, and to say the tahmid thirty-three times, and to say the takbir thirty-four times, and that makes one-hundred’. He said, Say the tasbih twenty-five times and say the tahmid twenty-five times and say the takbir twenty-five times and say the tahlil twenty-five times, and that will make one hundred’. The following morning, he told the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) about that and the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘do what the Ansari said’.

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہم سے روایت ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے دیکھا جیسے سونے والا خواب دیکھتا ہے، اس سے خواب میں پوچھا گیا: تمہارے نبی کریم ﷺ نے تمہیں کس چیز کا حکم دیا ہے؟ اس نے کہا: آپ نے ہمیں حکم دیا کہ ہم تینتیس بار «سبحان اللہ» تینتیس بار «الحمد لله» اور چونتیس بار «اللہ أكبر» کہیں، تو یہ کل سو ہیں، تو اس نے کہا: تم پچیس بار «سبحان اللہ» پچیس بار «الحمد لله» پچیس بار «اللہ أكبر» اور پچیس بار «لا إله إلا اللہ»کہو، یہ بھی سو ہیں، چنانچہ جب صبح ہوئی تو اس آدمی نے اسے نبی اکرم ﷺ سے ذکر کیا، تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: تم لوگ ایسے ہی کر لو جیسے انصاری نے کہا ۔
Abdul-allah bin Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se riwayat hai ke aik aadmi ne dekha jaise sone wala khwab dekhta hai, us se khwab mein poochha gaya: tumhare Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne tumhein kis cheez ka hukm diya hai? Us ne kaha: Aap ne hamein hukm diya ke hum tinttis bar "Subhan Allah" tinttis bar "Alhamdulillah" aur chauntis bar "Allahu Akbar" kahein, to yeh kul so hain, to us ne kaha: Tum pachchis bar "Subhan Allah" pachchis bar "Alhamdulillah" pachchis bar "Allahu Akbar" aur pachchis bar "La ilaha illa Allah" kaho, yeh bhi so hain, chananchh jab subh hui to us aadmi ne us se Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se zikr kiya, to Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Tum log aise hi kar lo jaise Ansar ne kaha.
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الرَّازِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، رَأَى فِيمَا يَرَى النَّائِمُ قِيلَ لَهُ بِأَىِّ شَىْءٍ أَمَرَكُمْ نَبِيُّكُمْ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ أَمَرَنَا أَنْ نُسَبِّحَ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ وَنَحْمَدَ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ وَنُكَبِّرَ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلاَثِينَ فَتِلْكَ مِائَةٌ . قَالَ سَبِّحُوا خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ وَاحْمَدُوا خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ وَكَبِّرُوا خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ وَهَلِّلُوا خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ فَتِلْكَ مِائَةٌ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ ذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " افْعَلُوا كَمَا قَالَ الأَنْصَارِيُّ " .
