Sunan an-Nasa'i 1853
Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that when the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) accepted the women's oath of allegiance, he accepted their pledge that they would not wail (over the death). They said, O Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), there are women who helped us to mourn during the Jahiliyyah should we help them to mourn?’ The Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘there is no helping to mourn in Islam.’

عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے سنا: میت کو اس کی قبر میں اس پر نوحہ کرنے کی وجہ سے عذاب دیا جاتا ہے ۔
Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kehte hain ke main ne Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko farmate suna: mit ko us ki qabr mein us par noha karne ki wajah se azaab diya jata hai.
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " الْمَيِّتُ يُعَذَّبُ فِي قَبْرِهِ بِالنِّيَاحَةِ عَلَيْهِ " .
