Sunan an-Nasa'i 4644
Abdullah bin Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that Ummul Momineen Aisha ( رضي الله تعالى عنها) wanted to buy a slave woman to set her free, but her people said, ‘we will sell her to you on condition that her loyalty (Walla) is to us.’ She mentioned that to the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and he said, ‘that should not stop you. Loyalty belongs to the one who sets the slave free.’ 74 Return to Contents

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے لونڈی خریدنا چاہی تاکہ اسے آزاد کریں، تو اس کے گھر والوں ( مالکان ) نے کہا: ہم اسے آپ سے اس شرط پر بیچیں گے کہ ولاء ( حق وراثت ) ہمارا ہو گا، عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے اس کا ذکر رسول اللہ ﷺ سے کیا تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”تم اس وجہ سے مت رک جانا، کیونکہ ولاء ( وراثت ) تو اس کے لیے ہے جو آزاد کرے“۔
Abdul-Allah ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se riwayat hai ke ummul Momineen Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ne laundi kharidna chahi takay isay azad karen, to us ke ghar walon ( malikan ) ne kaha: hum isay aap se is shart per bechein ge ke wila ( haq wirasat ) hamara hoga, Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ne is ka zikr Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se kiya to aap ne farmaya: ”tum is wajah se mat ruk jaana, kyunke wila ( wirasat ) to us ke liye hai jo azad kare“
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، أَرَادَتْ أَنْ تَشْتَرِيَ، جَارِيَةً تَعْتِقُهَا فَقَالَ أَهْلُهَا نَبِيعُكِهَا عَلَى أَنَّ الْوَلاَءَ لَنَا . فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " لاَ يَمْنَعُكِ ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّ الْوَلاَءَ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ " .
