Sunan an-Nasa'i 4888
Safwan bin Umayyah ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that a Khamisah was stolen from beneath his head while he slept in the Masjid of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). He caught there thief and brought him to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), who ordered that his hand be cut off. Safwan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, ‘are you going to cut off his hand?’ He said, ‘why didn't you let him go before you brought him to me?’

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ قبیلہ مخزوم کی ایک عورت پڑوسی عورتوں ( کی گواہیوں ) کے ذریعہ سامان مانگتی، پھر مکر جاتی تھی، تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اس کا ہاتھ کاٹنے کا حکم دیا۔
Abdullih bin Umar razi Allah unhuma kahte hain keh qabeela Makhzoom ki ek aurat pdosi auraton ki gawahion ke zariye saman mangti phir makar jati thi to Rasul Allah ne us ka hath katne ka hukum diya
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، رضى الله عنهما قَالَ كَانَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مَخْزُومِيَّةٌ تَسْتَعِيرُ مَتَاعًا عَلَى أَلْسِنَةِ جَارَاتِهَا وَتَجْحَدُهُ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِقَطْعِ يَدِهَا .
