Al-Mu'jam al-Saghir 1003
Our master, the son of Umar, may Allah be pleased with both of them, narrates that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, "The example of the people is like that of a hundred camels, you will hardly find one suitable for riding." He, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, further said, "And we consider a believing man to be better than a thousand like them."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”لوگوں کی مثال اونٹوں کی سی ہے کہ سو میں سے ایک بھی سواری کے قابل نہیں پاؤگے۔“ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”ہم اس جیسے ہزار میں سے صرف مومن مرد کو ہی بہتر سمجھتے ہیں۔“
Saina Ibne Umar Radi Allaho Anhuma kehte hain ki Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: “Logon ki misal oonton ki si hai ke sau mein se ek bhi sawari ke qabil nahi paoge.” Aap sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: “Hum is jaise hazaar mein se sirf momin mard ko hi behtar samajhte hain.”
حَدَّثَنَا حُسْنُونُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمِصْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّ النَّاسَ كَإِبِلٍ مِائَةٍ لا تَجِدُ فِيهَا رَاحِلَةً، قَالَ: وَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لا نَعْلَمُ شَيْئًا خَيْرًا مِنْ أَلْفٍ مِثْلَهُ إِلا الرَّجُلَ الْمُؤْمِنَ"، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، إِلا أُسَامَةُ. تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، وَلا يُرْوَى آخِرُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، قَوْلُهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لا نَعْلَمُ شَيْئًا خَيْرًا مِنْ أَلْفٍ مِثْلَهُ إِلا الرَّجُلَ الْمُؤْمِنَ". إِلا بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ
