Al-Mu'jam al-Saghir 543
Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the first fruit of a tree was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would accept it or rub it over his eyes, then he would give it to the youngest child present.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں: جب نبی ﷺ کے پاس کسی درخت کا پہلا پھل لایا جاتا تو آپ ﷺ اس کو قبول فرماتے یا اپنی آنکھوں پر لگاتے، پھر سب سے چھوٹے وہاں پر موجود بچے کو دے دیتے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kehte hain: Jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass kisi darakht ka pehla phal laya jata to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) uss ko kabool farmate ya apni aankhon par lagate, phir sab se chhote wahan par mojood bacche ko dete.".
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ سَوْرَةَ التَّمِيمِيُّ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ،" أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَانَ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِالْبَاكُورَةِ مِنَ الثَّمَرَةِ قَبِلَهَا أَوْ جَعَلَهَا عَلَى عَيْنَيْهِ، ثُمَّ أَعْطَاهَا أَصْغَرَ مَنْ يَحْضُرُهُ مِنَ الْوِلْدَانِ"، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، إِلا الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ أَبُو الْوَلِيدُ
