It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Verily, false oaths are a cause of the destruction of blessings and a cause of barrenness in earnings."
حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) سے مروی ہے کہ حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : بیشک جھوٹی قسم ساز و سامان کے زوال کا اور کمائی میں بےبرکتی کا سبب ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (RA) se marvi hai keh Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Beshak jhooti qasam saz-o-saman ke zawaal ka aur kamai mein bay barkati ka sabab hai.
The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Avoid excessive swearing, for it increases wealth in the beginning but then decreases it."
حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : زیادہ قسم اٹھانے سے بچو، بیشک اس کی وجہ سے شروع میں مال کچھ بڑھتا ہے پھر کم ہوجاتا ہے۔
Huzur Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne Irshad Farmaya: Zyada qasam uthane se bacho, beshak is ki waja se shuru mein maal kuch barhta hai phir kam hojata hai.
The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Avoid excessive oaths in business, for it may cause the wealth to increase apparently but then it diminishes."
حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : بیع میں زیادہ قسمیں اٹھانے سے بچو، بیشک اس کی وجہ سے پہلے مال بظاہر بڑھتا ہے پھر کم ہوجاتا ہے۔
Huzur Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Bay mein zyada qasmein uthane se bacho, beshak is ki wajah se pehle maal ba-zahir barhta hai phir kam hojata hai.
Hazrat Zaazan narrates that when Hazrat Ali (R.A) used to visit the marketplace, he would greet the merchants and say, "O Merchants! Avoid taking too many oaths while trading. Indeed, it may cause the goods to be sold, but it ends the blessings."
حضرت زاذان فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت علی (رض) بازار آتے تو سلام کرتے اور فرماتے، اے تاجرو ! بیع میں زیادہ قسمیں اٹھانے سے بچو، بیشک اس کی وجہ سے سامان تو بک جاتا ہے لیکن برکت ختم ہوجاتی ہے۔
Hazrat Zaazan farmate hain keh Hazrat Ali (RA) bazaar aate to salam karte aur farmate, aye tajiro! Baye mein zyada qasmein uthane se bacho, beshak is ki wajah se saman to bik jata hai lekin barkat khatam hojati hai.
Hazrat Qais (R.A) stated that we used to do business in Medina and we used to call ourselves "Samasira". Then the Prophet (PBUH) came to us and called us with a better name than what we used to call ourselves. You (PBUH) said: "O Merchants! In this business, there are vain talks and oaths taken, so compensate for it with charity.
حضرت قیس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم لوگ مدینہ میں تجارت کرتے تھے، اور ہم اپنے آپ کو سماسر ۔ کے نام سے پکارتے تھے، پھر آنحضرت (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے اور ہمیں اس سے اچھے نام سے پکارا جس سے ہم اپنے آپ کو پکارتے تھے، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : اے تاجرو ! اس کاروبار میں لغو کام اور قسم اٹھائی جاتی ہے، پس اس کی تلافی صدقہ کے ساتھ کرو۔
Hazrat Qais (RA) farmate hain ki hum log Madina mein tijarat karte thay, aur hum apne aap ko Samasir ke naam se pukarte thay, phir Aap (SAW) humare pass tashreef laye aur hamein is se achhe naam se pukara jis se hum apne aap ko pukarte thay, Aap (SAW) ne irshad farmaya: Aye tajiro! Is karobar mein laghu kaam aur qasam uthai jati hai, pas is ki talafi sadqah ke saath karo.
The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Taking an oath is a cause for breaking it or for becoming wicked." (One of these two things will necessarily happen).
حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا ارشاد ہے قسم اٹھانا حانث ہونے یا نادم ہونے کا سبب ہے۔ ( ان دو میں سے ایک کام ضرور ہوگا) ۔
Huzur Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka irshad hai qasam uthana hanis hone ya nadim hone ka sabab hai (in do mein se aik kaam zaroor hoga)
The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah will not speak to three types of people on the Day of Judgment, nor will He purify them from their sins, and He will give them a painful punishment: one who brags about his favors, one who wears his lower garment below his ankles, and one who sells his goods by making false oaths."
حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : تین قسم کے لوگوں سے اللہ تعالیٰ قیامت کے دن کلام نہیں فرمائے گا، اور نہ ہی ان کو گناہوں سے پاک کرے گا اور ان کو دردناک عذاب دے گا، احسان جتلانے والا، شلوار ٹخنوں سے نیچے لٹکانے والا اور جھوٹی قسم اٹھا کر سامان فروخت کرنے والا۔
Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Teen qisam ke logon se Allah Ta'ala qayamat ke din kalām nahin farmaye ga, aur na hi un ko gunahon se pak kare ga aur un ko dardnak azab de ga, ehsaan jatlane wala, shalwar takhnon se neeche latkane wala aur jhooti qasam utha kar saman farokht karne wala.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "False statement embellishes the thing and makes it quick, but it throws one down on his face and destroys the blessing."
حضرت ابو ہریرہ (رض) ارشاد فرماتے ہیں : جھوٹ بیع کو خوشنما اور تیز کرتا ہے، سامان کو بکوا دیتا ہے لیکن کسب کو ختم کردیتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) irshad farmate hain : Jhoot bay ko khushnuma aur tez karta hai, saman ko bikwa deta hai lekin kasb ko khatam karta hai.
